TBH I don't think blocking for Judd has been a strong point for Grigg.

Jacobs is a good ruckman who knows he is behind Warnock and Kreuzer in the oecking order and doesn't want to wait until someone is injured before he takes the first ruck. So you can write that one off.
Walker's manager has said they are more than happy to stay but feel a change might be good. Not exactly walking out on the club.
Grigg has had attitude issues from Day 1 so hardly surprising that he may not get on with the coach. Funny he has been linked with the Tiges......his ability to win the ball then turn it over should fit their game plan perfectly.
Kane Lucas will come back in, and Grigg would not have been in our "best 22" ahead of him.........not even close.
So what has any of this got to do with "What Ratten is doing"?
P.S. Swanny.....get me Mitch Clarke to play as KPP forward please. Thanks.

Pfftt get over your recruiting staff. They have not exactly been on fire lately....

Christ - THE RICHMOND LIST.
You keep saying this, but Miller is no longer at the club, thank god.Do you think that's the only deal Richmond have stuffed up?
I'm thrilled that Grigg has chosen you guys, knowing your history we'll get something very good in return.
Have to agree with you there. People talk about Hadley and Grigg like they're comparable to McLean in the grunt work. Check out the 1%ers, Ellard(7.3), Kreuzer(6.1) and McLean(5.5 - two games ruined by injury) are 1st, 2nd and 4th at Carlton. Hadley is 16th and Grigg 28th. A lot of this work goes unnoticed admittedly but I don't see these guys doing anywhere near the grunt work of the other three.
You keep saying this, but Miller is no longer at the club, thank god.
We can speculate all we like. If Dimma rates Grigg and wants him, then that's fine by me. if we can get a deal done with Carlton, then good, because it ensures we get our man.
But being angry if he goes into the PSD, while quite valid, is pointless because that's what the PSD is there for. It's so that bottom clubs (yes, we certainly have been, and are, that) can get the best uncontracted players. Not too dissimilar to how GC17 have gone about it.
If the PSD is just going to be an extension of the National Draft and clubs just take the best-of-the-rest kids that missed out, then we may as well just add on an extra round in the National Draft and do away withthe PSD altogether.
The PSD was designed so that uncontracted players could walk to the bottom clubs.
if we do land Grigg via this process, then we are just using the process as it was designed for.
Of course, out of courtesy to your club, I would hope you get something in return by way of a trade. But if that can't be done, then you can't blame us if we go via the PSD.
Just my thoughts. I realise this is your board and I respect that.
I just think that's all a myth about Hadley. He does it occasionally, but more often sits out the back and dishes off handballs. The game where McPhee monstered Judd and he just sat back and watched was disgraceful.Disagree on Hadley. At the bottom of every pack, leads with his head, smart player who wins the ball.
Unlike others... I don't blame Richmond at all for trying to get him through the PSD... why wouldn't they... It is Grigg who most are pissed off for the situation we find ourselves in... and then you have your supporters coming on here calling us hypocrites for hating the guy...You keep saying this, but Miller is no longer at the club, thank god.

I don't want him anymore... I have already grown my hate for him... I'd take Jacobs back... but not GriggWe'll have a ball here if a trade doesn't go through and Grigg ends up staying.
It's possible..
Don't think he could possibly look anyone in the eye after giving everyone false hope then ****ing off to Thailand leaving his manager to break the news. Gutless people like that wouldn't show their face back at the club and wouldn't be welcomed back either. We'll have a ball here if a trade doesn't go through and Grigg ends up staying.
It's possible..
Footy's an emotional game and when our players don't feel the same sense of loyalty that we do, then it can overboil. I am not criticsing anyone here, and ask any RFC poster to do the same and respect a sensitive situation.Unlike others... We will most likely get jack for Grigg... whilst most players we have recruited we have paid handsomely for.. even when we were the bottom team... this is what irks us...
I don't want him anymore... I have already grown my hate for him... I'd take Jacobs back... but not Grigg
I'm going to abuse him so much when he walks down the race next year.
ahhhh sin you are so funny !You are actually an illiterate imbecile who is never even close to the mark about anything and has no place in this conversation
Unlike others... I don't blame Richmond at all for trying to get him through the PSD

I don't think he's ever made a bit of difference to Judd's performances, certainly not in the way McLean and Kreuzer do.Yes - that was disgraceful. I think he got dropped the following week and came back a better player. I think in general, Judd is a better player when Hadley is in the team, the Freo game was disappointing.
ahhhh sin you are so funny !
dont get so upset, grigg is a crap player who doent have any courage & cant kick a dog as 1 of your supporters called him.
How on Earth do you know he isn't happy??? Sure he would've been when he wasn't getting a game... but then he earn his stripes, got called back... and remained in the team... you keep doing that... you keep your spot... you play shit... you get dropped...You people giving Grigg a hard time are unbelievable!!!
If Grigg was happy at the club he would stay, no doubt about it. The fact remains that Grigg is not happy because of something. Maybe Grigg leaving has something to do with Ratten leaving him in the VFL for 14 rounds even though he was dominating and averaging 35 posessions a game. Maybe you should be venting your frustrations out on the coaching staff and board and not Grigg. Remember you have three players all from the same club now requesting a trade in the one season which really is unheard of in the AFL. I think you guys must have some serious issues with player/coaching relationships because no matter how good the money is if the player was happy then 9 times out of ten he would stay. And to reiterate how good things are at carlton why dont you ask Brent Montgomery about his sacking??? How the hell do you sack an assistant coach without the CEO Greg Swann not knowing about it??? The first he heard was when Montgomery past him in the carpark. Im not trying to bait you guys but seriously have a think about some of the stuff that has happenened at your footy club of late before pointing the finger at Grigg. At the end of the day Grigg is an "employee" if the employee isn't happy and gets a better offer elsewhere then why wouldn't he go?? As much as we hate to admit it, football is a business now, with free agency coming in these sorts of things will be common place.
Why are you bringing up the pick we used to draft Grigg with?
It's completely irrelevant.
It is disappointing when any player wants to leave your club. It is even more disappointing when it is clear he wants to leave because he has an inflated sense of self-worth and doesn't want to put in the hard work required to become a regular season player.
Russell and Armfield are easily best 22 players and have worked hard to get and maintain their spot in the side.
The same can't be said for Grigga who wants to take the easy way out.
Have you ever considered the possibility that you have very little idea when it comes to the specific roles and responsibilities that a player is given on match day?
Noone here knows exactly why player A gets the nod over player B, but it is safe to assume that he's playing the role asked of him whilst the other is not.
How do you know the club hasn't done a hell of a lot to keep him at the club?
If a player wants to leave because he doesn't want to put in the hard yards like every other player has to, he can leave and rot for all I care.
To suggest that we gift players a game because the player believes they belong in the best 22 is comical.
It's also a great way to completely ruin the fabric of a club.
Only a moron would suggest that we should be gifting undeserving games to players so they don't have a fit and chase the money elsewhere.
Hardly surprising, therefore, that this is exactly your point of view.
