OK. Major positives:

1) 2 Ruck system works. Reidy, whilst not amazing, had been good enough and maintained structure. Fact he's signed for '25 is huge.

2) Amiss, whikst quiet, has immense IQ and no shortage of skills.

3) Brayshaw and Serong have been superb.

4) We've kicked 52 in a half against the current best team in the comp. Same amount or close re: scoring shots.

Bodes well regardless of result.

Interesting we seem to love the same play from centre square. Serong starts in front of the ball, runs back through to collect and give to Brayshaw.

Would we benefit from getting on the attack a bit more and hitting to the bloke running forward from behind the ruckman? Not every play ... but to mix it up

I really want to win and play finals but to be 9 pts up at half-time against (potentially) the form team of the comp after conceding the first 3 is encouraging.

GWS are the real deal and could go all the way this year, we're adjusting well given our key outs.

We may not make finals this year but overall, we are trending in the right direction.

But also, we need to play finals.

If we're to pull off this upset, Cox and Ryan need to lift big time.

Hogans killing Cox. 6 shots and 4 marks in a half is an absolute smashing

Also, Bailey needs to lift. Zero elbows to the back of head in the first half. Need to show him the Tom Greene cultural appropriation karate kick to send a rocket up him.
