Re: hamish mclachlan and wikipedia - a must read for every footy fan - now going nuts on the interwe

Be interesting to find out who wikipedia contributors Zempilas and Robbo128 are.

Justsaying.

If "Zempilas" is Basil, I don't think it matters, because the user has made one edit adding very minor things to what is a good page (unlike Hamish's).

I think Rompingwins is one of a kind.

Honestly, who do these people think they are? Important? Significant? Doers of good? Make contributions to society? Achieve a sliver of something? Why on earth do they think anyone gives a damn about them.

They do light-weight hosting on telly. A lollypop person is more deserving of a wiki page than these clowns drunk on their own minor celebrity status.

You're just jealous.

Anyone else just see the clips of Hame playing tennis on GameDay? Seriously lol'ed.

I'm expecting some more gold today with those Game Day clips of ropmingwins!

Re: hamish mclachlan and wikipedia - a must read for every footy fan - now going nuts on the interwe

Yesterday on 3AW, Richo was on the pre game show and made a sly comment about people updating their own wiki pages.

On that same show he said that 6 weeks ago, Hawthorn were "unbackable favourites" to win the Premiership. Is he on the same gear as BT who gave us "there's one of the greats of the game....Karmichael Hunt" :(

This was mental!

Why would ANYONE want to watch him play tennis?

And why would ANYONE think anyone else wants to watch him play tennis?

Mind-boggling stuff...

Can you imagine being the cameraman on that day. He would have been sitting there doing **** all for 2+ hours.

No one wants to watch Hame do anything. Actually, I'd like to see him drive a cab or sweep a floor or work in a shop, basically anything that involved doing something vaguely meaningful. Oh yes, and that wasn't gifted either.

I really, really want to believe that Hamish has read this entire thread and has pondered why people have indulged in schadenfreude to the extent they have (to the extent he's able to, anyway - I don't think Hame is the pondering type or that he's particularly well-equipped for the exercise). But of all the posts in the thread, I hope he pays attention to this one. And that Rompingwins does too, I guess.

My new most favourite thing about Rompingwins is his segues.

"Harry's amazing; so is Adelaide, great win over Sydney..."

"Jack Watts, scrutinized from a young age; so was Gary Ablett; his team player well against Fremantle but he wasn't there..."

I can't remember them exactly, but that's the gist. They are extraordinary. This man can't even just change the topic like a host normally would.

I think the most glaring thing with the Ch7 team shot is that everyone is relaxed and smiley, where-as Hammer has this psychotic look in his eyes... like he's seen a room full of puppies he wants to destroy.

Re: hamish mclachlan and wikipedia - a must read for every footy fan - now going nuts on the interwe

the geelong match on saturday he kept calling tom harley 'tommy harley'.. what a tosser.. and he kept banging on about tom lonergans kidney injury, he must have brought it up about 3 or 4 times.. it happened like 5 years ago. what a wanka.

Re: hamish mclachlan and wikipedia - a must read for every footy fan - now going nuts on the interwe

I wonder how much I'd have to pay Tom Harley or Brett Kirk to respond with "No worries, Rompingwins"...
