This was the one, it's gone now. I recall reading it, but there was nothing in there that I found particularly outrageous.

It pretty much made the case that if you spray the bowl at the Olympics, which Hamish was doing, you're doing it on the biggest platform and you'll likely be consigned to 3rd and 4th rate jobs from there. Highlighted that Tony Squires and Mark Nicholas never recovered after audiences tore into their Olympics hosting work.

Imagine being gifted the plum gig of calling footy (despite being completely unqualified) likely through nothing but immense family influence. Moreover, imagine hosting the Olympics (ditto the lack of qualifications) and being so thin skinned that you can't cop any (in this case deserved) criticism that inevitably comes your way!
