Firstly, the "No Kane Cornes" Rule is back

If we lose Gunston, add his expected wage onto Bowes offer. Just blow other clubs out of water financially
At some point, carrying that wage will hurt us attracting free agents and other players. There is a limit to what you can offer now, even for us.

I think McStay and Amon are both border line start of 2nd round picks. We will find out shortly. If it turns out to be pick 37ish we would then likely get pick 44 in return which is way unders for someone of Gunston’s quality.
We wont be getting any compensation pick if gunstan leaves…

We will if the Lions don’t want to lose the McStay compensation. We’re not going to get anything close to that but it would be in their best interest to trade a 3rd round. Most likely a future

Actually I’ve slept on it and if the club decides that Ferg can fill a role in the side, then sure I’m not opposed to it. He would most definitely bring more to the list than Jackson Callow did.

Could fill a role until Serong is ready to make it his.

Just young and not physically developed yet.

Has the footy brain and skillset so hopefully it's only a matter of patience.
True. But in no way can he replace what we've lost with Jack's output for the next year or 2.

Greene may give us something more in the short term.

I wonder what other salary dumps the suns are interested in doing. If they do wanna clear $2 million from the Bowes is not gonna cut it.

Ned Ryerson can you make that new sign about the compo?

I think every third post is going to be the same thing.

Not sure I can fit ‘you have unrealistic trade expectations for a 31 year old free agent who has given enough to the club and has been through a lot this year’ onto it.
