At some point, carrying that wage will hurt us attracting free agents and other players. There is a limit to what you can offer now, even for us.

I think McStay and Amon are both border line start of 2nd round picks. We will find out shortly. If it turns out to be pick 37ish we would then likely get pick 44 in return which is way unders for someone of Gunston’s quality.

The fact he can't contribute up forward while being fed by the best midfield in the comp makes me think he would be of no value to the side with the worst midfield. Has shown much less than Kosi despite the quality supply. Pass.
