So do we add a forward to the list, or just go into 2023 with what we’ve already got and have drafted?

Hearing that Meek will play pure Ruck, with Ned splitting time forward and Ramsden to be developed as a forward, but will that be enough?

Pressure is on, Kosie.

This will be three years in a row of being under the salary cap. If Amon is the only signing, that would be a disappointing off-season.

OUT:
Mitchell 171
McEvoy 252
Howe 96
Gunston 225
Phillips 115
Shiels 255
Hartigan 135

IN:
Amon

Options for our taller forward stocks:

Resting ruck up Forward if we always play two.
Back Kosi to improve.
Get more games into Serong.
Rookie list Fergus Greene
Draft the best available tall forward.

Short term pain long term gain.
Will make us better in 2024/5.
Thanks Jack loved watching you and great servant of the club. All the best legend. 👍
There is nothing definitive about that. Yes every player eventually leaves but i am not sure we have a replacement yet

Sad about Jack but pretty excited to see more of Ramsden, Lynch and Kozi. Might cost us a couple of wins (tanking for the super draft baybee), but as cliche as it is to say - it does fast forward the rebuild to lose a senior player who would other wise be taking a spot in the team from a developing player who could play in our next premiership.

Also as a football enjoyer, I am unashamedly excited to watch Gunston, Cameron, McCarthy and Hipwood in a single forward line. Will hold back tears, swallow sadness, and enjoy the show.

Come on down Fergus Greene
