Still 4 hours before any trades can happen....
Or before they can be processed. They're being frantically finalised as we speak, then a rush of list managers rushing to the AFL office at 3 o'clock

AFL bullshit.

He's definitely a good kid- Danger was saying that cooper asked which mid he should try to replicate in training (e.g neale) to help out the main team during finals. But struggled with injuries and he hasn't exactly set the world on fire when he's had opportunities. Hes contracted so i don't think we'll be giving him away for no reason.

We'll be asking for your pick 24 but that's probably overs at this point.

bold use of the word probably, the one reason they would "give him away" might purely be list spots, where are you guys up to?

definitely then :p. As for list spots we are running low but not desperate as we could re-rookie sam Simpson if needed

You're a well run club in win now mode mate.

You'll let Stephens go for very little to a club that will provide him opportunity.

Bringing in Bruhn (pick 18 mind you), promising Bowes he will play, and potentially drafting Clark... he's further down the list than he was.

Oh and let's not forget Parfitt was outside the best 22 before Holmes injury.

If Stephens wants a trade, this will be for nothing of note. Just as it always is for depth players from the reigning premiers.

I might need to add this to my signature so that people can be reminded, but we are going to have 22 of our top 25 in the PCM still on the list in 2023, plus Amon and Meek.

We’ll also have a bunch of players returning from injury who were put out to pasture late in 2022.

The comparison to what North did is a false equivalency.
We are also losing four of our last six pcm winners and a multiple top 3 player. Big shoes to fill! Going to have to raise the floor of the bottom six to see improvement. At least that is where we will make the biggest gains in the short term. It would be nice if newc elevates to a Brownlow medalist, Worpel find his best form plus Finn and Moore continue their transition into the middle. Need a functional midfield!
