... and yet they seem to think Goodes is a top bloke. What would they know? Just spoilt brats used to having everything their own way and don't know how to handle getting beaten by a better team.
Can't wait to see the back of goodes. Just can't stand him. Looked like he was going to break the game apart.

Great win hawks.

Simpkin has showed some poise the last couple of weeks. He's not the most talented bloke, but geez I can respect someone who just keeps on having a dip.

Also to that genius Hawthorn fan at the G who refused to give the ball back to the $h!tney player; LIKE!. 4 votes that man.
Joffa had the job on Malceski and other than 14 kick outs I hardly saw him make an impact! Well done Joffa! He stays in as the close checking HF as that releases the 'Pop' to do all sorts of damage inside. Fitty!

Bring in Lake, Spangher, Sewell and Rioli and we will be hard to beat.

And don't forget the back up available from some of the Box Hill boys if required.

The future looks bright for the remainder of the season, even after some tough knocks so far with injuries/health and the odd suspension or two.

The turning point was the period in the third quarter when Hawthorn revved the engine of its run and carry game. Sydney had no answer to the at all costs play-on style Hawthorn adopted. It's no wonder Hawthorn kicked so many goals in that quarter.

Puopolo set the example with his engine firing on all cylinders in that quarter. Hill became involved and Smith found the ball. But kudos to McEvoy who dominated in the ruck after half time and especially in that third quarter. I don't know the statistics for hit-outs to advantage but he seemed to have quite a few.

Simpkin played a role to a tee. He was involved in a couple of big plays in the last quarter. He's kept his place for next week.

Yes, great work by the fan. Anything that helps slow up a fast break gets a big tick from me.

Remind me of a tactic that the Swans used to perfection tonight. Almost every time they conceded a free, they ran forward with the ball then pretended to be confused about the free. Gives them time to set up down field and halts momentum. An umpire needs to be gutsy enough to ping them a 50 metre penalty.
