Carpe Diem
We need to keep playing Frawley, that's the best way to get him improving on implementing Hawks footy. There will come a time where he will need to step up should Lake or Gibo get injured or suspended.

it hasnt worked for opposition sides for a long time, I don't know why they bother, although Hodgey was bulldozing everything from the start, we were just as hard and tough as the pussy cats, its just that SJ did a gutless back hit on Mitchell and Mitch was targetted all day, but he is used to it, its a bit dissappointing we didn't win by 20 goals, that's what it deserved and us top of the ladder.Agree with this. I too enjoy playing the cats, but I thought there was a deliberate tactic to try to rough us up after we piled on a few goals. A sign of real desperation.
Well, to be fair... it wouldn't make much sense if everyone spelt it the crazywildhorse way.Not enough 'mission acomplied' in this thread.
Yeh he should play every game, the sooner he is up to Lake spec, WOW, lookout competition, we didnt even have Jesus or Hale playing yesterday, two instrumental GF players, holy cow, I think everyone just overrating Geelong and comparing them or thinking they are the side they were when chapman was there, they ARENT, they are far from that side, but most likely still a top 6 side.We need to keep playing Frawley, that's the best way to get him improving on implementing Hawks footy. There will come a time where he will need to step up should Lake or Gibo get injured or suspended.
why did they get rid of chapman, how stupid of themApparently, the Cats had a run of 15 or 20 consecutive wins against us not long ago?
Anyone remember that? I can't. They've been our bunnies forever!
They're missing some players though. They'll be better when Ablett, Chapman & co return

Yep loved seeing Frawley's pace and think he will get more confidence the more he plays with the boys……..also loved seeing him get in the middle of things when things heated up with Lewis and Clarke…..he had that crazy look and smirk on his face as he got in the face of Dorkson Simpson…..Really like Frawley's pace but needs to be in the right places more often if he is to replace Lake who is the best at it as a defender in my view
I love Stevie J rolling around on the ground squealing for a free kick.Haha, one, two, three strikes you're out........What a gun!

the only player i was a little disappointed with today was smith, he just looked a little rusty but the intent was there.
can't wait for essendon next week.
I feel Happy, I feel Happy, my two wishes came true, the TWO cocky coaches Scott teams were flogged...HEHE
"We're a Happy team at Hawthorn, We're the MIGHTY fighting Hawks."
Oh what a feeling, (no sympathy for the 2 Scott's.) Happy, Happy, Happy
thats cool, lets see none of the flags on the cars around Geelong for some time now! Geelong supporters in Geelong seem to be very sunny weather supporters. if their team doesnt do well, it seems all those car flags seem to disappear! It was fantastic, for me there is no greater "old enemy" than geelong.
I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to applaud the coaching group (silently & i hope respectively ) as they entered the lift at the beginning of 3/4 time. There are times that one cannot resist the chance to show your deep appreciation awe for the real "Generals" of this great club. Foremost was not wanting to interfere in the "moment".
Not far from my place there is your usual arrogant geelong supporter, with the flagpole in the front yard, it has taken much for him to find an excuse to run up the cat's flag, often it would remain up after a loss.
I must concede that he must now have a sense of humour.
The cats flag was flying at 1/2 mast this morning, loved it !!!!!
This loss must have hit him pretty hard.
