How long will we continue to ignore McVeigh's weak performances?

Buchanan's kicking at goal has been attrocious for a few weeks now. And your right if our goal sneaks like davis buchanan and schneider are firing the whole team fires. We need to live with the fact Hall will be hard pushed to get a touch most times and be using our running players to be scoring.

And whats the deal with our backs playing forward roles and kicking goals for us Barry and C.Bolton have kicked a few this year (not a heap but a few). Mayb we need to mix it up a bit and surprise the oppositions.

What in the hell was Schneider doing in the backline. No wonder we dont pick up the loose ball that goes to ground in the F30. Strange move for mine.

Anyone who thought O'Keefe was abscent on Saturday night wasn't watching or knows nothing about the game. His last Q was very good and was one of those that kept going to bring as back to the brink of victory.

On Malceski, he got that hefty knock early on and appeared to make some uncharacteristic skill errors and was moved up forward. I suspect he had a bit of concussion. That tired kick along the ground at the end of the 3rd Q was not his form as he usually finished a game strongly.

Another ordinary display from Mr McVeigh yesterday night. Surely his time is up, he's been given a countless amount of chances to improve but hasn't. He's played about 2 decent games out of 12.

But you just watch, he will probably be the first bloke picked for next Saturday while guys like Schmidt and Grundy will get it in the neck yet again.

According to our leadership group.....

Reputation > Form

What annoys me a lot about this guy is his disposal. **** instead of drilling nice kicks ala Mal he just lobs making it harder for one of our players to mark it and forces then into a contested situation which will lose. And his passing to our forwards is the same. Hall dropped his sitters last night which he usually eats for brekkie, but he is not a strong overhead mark. Don't kick it there McVeigh!!@

I expect that from local amateurs but not from an elite AFL player.

I don't know the positives that Roos sees in him and he has gone backwards in his development.

Come on guys, shmidt and grundy played better than mcveigh

Shimidt made *u*k up after F*c* up and grundy did nothing more than his last game except picked up his pace in his running....

Both have played under 10 games of AFL football too.

As for Schmidt, other than the smothered kick, he was great in the final quarter. Had 17 touches aswell... McVeigh had about 10.

It is a HUGE step up for our kids in the ACTAFL, and Grundy was a late inclusion.

Schmidt had 17 touches and only had 75 minutes of game time.

He is the right footed version of West Coke's Matt Priddis. He isn't quick but he has the ability to find the ball a lot and uses it very well.

theres about 6-8 players who should go before mcveigh. he does ok and he is not the problem. swannies are on the slide, even leo barry has admitted to that. we need a rebuilding phase to start, and that probably will take 3-4 years, so get used to it. its a harsh reality and it means that finals footy in 07 is very unlikely, unless we scrape into the eight, but we wont get far because 'the team' as it stands is basically past its use by date. singling out players to drop helps no-one. ra ra ra

6-8 BEFORE McVeigh?
Who?

He does okay? He does nothing!

So yet another poor performance from McVeigh yesterday.

Is his time up yet?

Surely he can't be picked again. And to think Schneider was dropped instead.

He's so friggin slow, and he doesn't have the hardness, courage or skill to compensate. He's a liability.

Thornton, Moore or Brabazon deserve a chance at his expense.

Sorry to say but you have a habit of bagging some players from time to time and I guees some have favorites which is fine but some pick out some players for straight bagging for what ever reason But its just my thoughts and its not a criticism of you its just my thoughts

Still think I'm being unfair?
