There was a half second at some point 6-12 months ago when Labor did something (sorry for digging so far into the detail) that made me wonder if they were going to try and get right-wingers across to them. 457s is the obvious issue to try and do that with, and Turnbull's pro-business image automatically has him on the other side. I'm not 100% sure that was their issue, but I think it did cross Shorten's or Labor HQ's mind that they could pull some anti-immigration votes after Abbott's demotion. Much harder to do anything with Hanson's demands. They're too silly.Labor policy. Look out folks.
