We can use me as a reference point for the 70% mark, I had jab one today and jab two is on 26/10. So whenever after today we hit 70% single dose we can reasonably expect 70% double dose to occur the same number of days after (assuming supply keeps up with demand).

That said, I’m far from convinced we get to 80%. Like ever.

Data out today suggesting most likely Jan 2022 for the country to get to 80% with summer and Christmas delaying it.

Both vaccines are 6 weeks, but Pfizer can be reduced back to 3.

Moderna 28 days.

Hopefully with increased supply you'll hear the government opening up Pfizer second doses to 3 weeks again.

Got my first dose of Pfizer at a state hub in the first few days of September, and was able to book second dose with a GP for 3 weeks later. You will have to check a few times during the day, but HotDoc.com.au will list any GPs with dose appointments for dose 1 or 2 which you can then book. But the appointments come and go quickly, so you need to check back and book ASAP if you want to grab them.

That's not a great report though. They assumed administration rates will remain at the same levels as today.

Victoria and Queensland will start getting more doses as the NSW second doses start slowing down

Whatever we are at Christmas will mostly be it in terms of reopening. The vast majority of people will be breaking rules of family visits, holidays etc.

There were thousands and thousands of appointments this month at some of the hubs, Sandown in particular you could pick any day or time. It really depends where you want to go. I decided to stick with same venue as first and I’d have to be bloody desperate to go to Sandown at the best of times!!! 😂

I feel it’ll be gloves off come Xmas time. People will be visiting family.

Any government that kills Christmas will likely be voted out next time around.

Andrews has a huge lead in the polls and is up against a sock puppet but the longer this goes the more likely that the current public frustration is taken out on election day.

He knows it too and there is immense pressure on Prof. Sutton to get things moving.

Pretty sure we don't have enough police in the state to stop all the xmas gatherings that will occur, even those off duty will be visiting families you would think.

It's the million dollar question

Right now mid Nov is most likely when we hit 70%. Beyond that it's all if and when we get more supplies
This was on Raf Epstein twitter account, based on our current rate:

Thought this from The Guardian was interesting:

Victorian government’s state-run clinics success in administering AstraZeneca, with the state accounting for 824,000 AstraZeneca doses out of 1.8m nationally – about 45% of the total.
NSW, by contrast, has only administered 320,000 AstraZeneca doses through state clinics, about 17% of the total, and well below its population share of about 32%.
