This really has been a terrific world cup so far. Even though you have to put up with some lopsided contests and the wait between games is a bit stupid, there has been great competition, some amazing individual performances and there a lot of teams still in with a genuine chance at winning it all. It's renewed my interest in one dayers.

It's probably the most even World Cup I can remember, probably 7 or 8 teams that could win it. Just a matter of who strikes form when they get to the knockout stages.

They're the four favourites but the likes of Pakistan, NZ, England and West Indies are more than capable of beating them on their day.

There's a lot of pressure on India and Sri Lanka playing at home, South Africa have a reputation for choking in World Cups and Australia is nowhere near as strong as they've been in previous World Cups.

Agreed. Certainly far more even than previous world cup's. We might not have a surprise winner but it should be great to watch.
