Hmm is Tahir injured or are the Saffies just hiding him from the Indians, he has probably been their best bowler. Not too sure about the decision.

India bat however.

Steyn and Botha should open the bowling in my book.

4 over throws, 4 wides, not a good start for the Saffies.

If only they took that catch they can get into a somewhat fragile middle order.

Edit. that wasn't even a no ball :(

Watching cricket is a different experience on the subcontinent than it is in Australia

Four one the spectators at the cricket in games at the subcontinent are immersed deeply in the games - almost regardless of who or what you are, and they are on the edge of the seats ball by ball. Whereas in Australia the crowds like to get a drink or two at the games, especially if its 1. A day at the test match, or 2. an odi

The crowd goes deafly quiet when one of the players get dismissed when the team is batting whereas its not the same thing in Australia.

Morne is giving lovely half-volleys to Tendulkar, good grief, that is asking to be smacked back down the ground with the minimum of effort.

It's like the Saffers have only 6 fielders out there.

its a 'bat a thon' because its the best batting line up in world cricket.

led by the best opening partnership in the game, featuring the 2nd greatest batsman of all time. why complain about this? there are still guns like kohli, yuvraj, pathan and dhoni still in the pavilion waiting for their turn

this is magnificent to watch, very entertaining stuff

England Vs South Africa (only needed 170). England Vs Bangladesh (not much more) suggests otherwise

Pitch doctoring has rendered South Africa's bowling attack (one that has Steyn and Morkel) to be non-existent. You cant do anything with an attack containing Warne, Mcgrath, Lee and Gillespie in their prime on this road
