Dunno about JJ being shoulder, he was clearly holding his head on the ground

But in all honesty, even if they both miss we should still s**t it in
I believe it was mentioned in the post-match it was shoulder, I agree though on field he definitely grabbed his bonce.

JJs was to the shoulder so I'd suggest he'll be fine but will be a watch on Libba. He seemed to have his wits about him on the bench, and by wits I mean he was about to have a biff with the doctor.
They both looked ok after the game

Wouldn't be surprised to see Treloar miss. He pulled up clutching his ankle early in the fourth and we will surely be conservative with him

Can never underestimate a team, but Libba just puts in an absolute ton every game and it isn't the worst thing to give his body a forced rest next week against the Hawks before the GWS game. Hopefully we get Bailey Smith back and can have Macrae play Libbas role and get Bailey back into the midfield mix.

Yeah that’s my thoughts too it’s a long season for Libba a week off this week could be a bit of a blessing.

Straight swap for Baz with McLean & McNeil swapping too is all I’d do

VDM breaks ribs on return to VFL. He cannot take a trick.
Yeah feel for the guy, I hope we don’t rush him back into the AFL side even though I know Bev loves him, I’d just like to see him get some continuity at VFL level and build up a month or two of form behind him.

Glad Gallagher is only a couple off and an improvement that we’ve got some clarification on Dom now. Probably makes it hard to do too much at AFL level this season but a consistent half a season of VFL footy will do wonders for him too.

Pretty disappointing that Bedendo may not be back playing VFL until Rd 14-15. Almost a lost year with that much time off field.

Hoping Gallagher can get a VFL game or two in before the bye. He’s pretty versatile and would offer a higher upside alternative to some of the current options in the small forward/defender and wing roles.

I hope we’re grooming Gallagher for a defensive role, looks really well suited there IMO and Jj has shown there’s still room for some speed in the defensive half alongside Richards/Dale.

Dale/Richards/Cleary/Gallagher is a nice little balanced crop to work towards in the back half with plenty of potential and years of footy in front of them. Gives us a bit of everything, elite/penetrating rebound from Dale, pinpoint short kicks with Cleary, speed from Gallagher and a touch of everything from Red. They can all defend to varying degrees and offer a bit aerially too.

Attack from halfback is so critical to the game again in modern footy, this is a nice base to build towards.

Death, taxes, Laitham Vandermeer on the injury list.

Yep, I agree. Obviously didn’t want it concussion enforced, but a week off for Libba now after a taxing little period was probably due.

This stretch until the bye (Round 15) is when the season needs to be set-up and with respect to Hawthorn, Libba shouldn’t be the difference there.

A little freshen-up now is ideal, dare say Treloar will get one soon as well.

Got to be sensible with the 30+ yo mids, especially injury prone ones.
