Ablett hammy rumour

Just mentioned by KB on SEN.

Apparently won't make the trip to Geelong. Anyone know anything?

EDIT: Apparently confirmed, some bleeding on the hamstring after the Pies game, don't think there's a tear. Definitely miss one week, fair chance it will be two.

Ablett will still make the trip to Geelong, just not playing.

Re: Ablett hammy rumour

May as well give him the rest of the year off now.

From GCS Facebook page...

Making a tough assignment just a little bit harder, Gold Coast captain Gary Ablett has been ruled out of this weekends return match against Geelong with a Hamstring injury. It's hoped the SUNS skipper will only miss one week, full details on goldcoastfc.com.au

+1 :thumbsu:

Have the rest of the year off Gary, but as a favour, could you please say that you'll be right for next week each week? I'd love people to hold you all year as you threaten to return. All I need now is for Scotland to retire.

Would be highly unlikely, mate!

I like saying Brown and Cloke will ruck for Collingwood.

True but they did it against sandilands in rd 1 and went alright, majak day still a rookie and hamish mc probably not match fit, either may Zac smith but earned the emergency badge

Obviously we had no other option in Round 1 against Cox of West Coast (Who absolutely dominated)

I can't see how we would possibly go in with out a recognised ruck this time in with Big Mac right to play if necessary.
