The only silver lining is the fact that the above mentioned can sink their teeth into some real AFL experiance.Bodes well for our younger midfielders getting games though. Sheed & Colledge in particular.
Maybe this is what Kane Lucas meant when he said there may be a position in the midfield.
As for Selwood, I think its time we move him to defense because his body isn't holding up in the midfield. Will allow him to run in straight lines and put less stress on those feet.
Yes sometimes people just get injured and its just bad luck that it happens - Yeo's broken hand and Lecras broken arm are examples of thisOr it's just bad luck keyser. Sometimes people just get injured and even the best medicos can do nothing about it.

The concern I have is that from an outsiders perspective it seems to me that its the management of injuries that have been an issue at times with Scott Selwoods ankle being the most recent example where his rehabilitation hasn't gone smoothly
Callum Sinclair with a nasty finger injury

That will not have much of an impact on the clubs success.Ugh.. Selwood with an interrupted pre season does not bode well
I think our team doctors really need to be questioned. We have has so many occurrences of a player coming back too early for a meaningless game only to set them back in the pre season and cause problems throughout the whole year. I'm getting sick of it
nnnooooooo. Not the man mountainSaw the article on AFL.com and had a heart attack dreading it was Lycett or McGovern.
Less concerned that it turned out to be Sinkers
(sorry Doughboy )
Daniel Chick says hinnnooooooo. Not the man mountain
It's OK, he has 9 others to maintain his silky smooth taps to advantage
Selwood was clearly not ready to play football...You don't miss games of football to get ready for pre season.
You do a pre season to get ready to play footy.
If you can play footy you always will play.
I have never until the last year on this board heard of players need to miss footy to get ready for pre season.
Bit like a golfer pulling out on day 4 of a tournament to get ready for a pro-am the following week.
Just stupid on every level.

DAMN YOU INJURIES!!!!!!!! LEAVE US ALONE!!!!!!!!! PICK ON SOMEONE ELSE!!!!!!!!!
Seriously though I would really love to see how we go in a season with minimal injuries, particularly to top 25 players.
at least he'll be able to do running and kicking. Not all bad. Far from ideal."Nasty break"?
Assholes.
Also thought of Lycett or Mcgovern breaking a leg.
Sinclair will recover early new year so it won't set him back much.
