It's now becoming a mathematical issue.

You lose to Collingwood next week (not a massive leap) and you need to go 7-1 to just make the finals. You still have the Bombers, Swans, St Kilda and Richmond games to come and you never know what you will get with NM.

Stick a fork in them, Carlton are done, won't make finals.

But you lose a good chunk of % which will go a long to sorting out those 6 - 8 spots which it looks like at best you're competing for now.
