I feel that Shaun Tait could be a risk for the Australians. Although he is fast, I fear that his erratic bowling, and tendecy to bowl really fast may be really expensive.

I have seen Tait before, and he does not impress me one bit. He is a dud, soon the selectors will realise this and start picking some real bowlers- like Stuart Clark.

It'll come off or it won't, look at 2 bowling performances in the CB series. 1/65 odd and then around 3/25 or something like that... He'll bowl 2 snorters followed by a wide which could give the batsmen a let off, depends who is bowling along with Tait could change everything

I don't support NSW. I support Tasmania.

But I believe that Clark is a better one day bowler that Tait.

Well perhaps Tassie is more isolated than we thought?

At List A level

Clark - Average 29.50, SR - 40.04

Tait - Average 21.90, SR- 27.43

Doesn't prove a thing.

What a pathetic response. Of course it means something.

Difference of 7.6 between the averages, thats HUGE.

Difference of 12.61 in Strike Rates, thats even Bigger.

Back under your bridge mate.

Come back to me when Tait proves himself at Internationsal level.

Clark is an excellent bowler.

As compared to the risk of taking 2 injured blokes and a bowling attack that looks toothless ATM ????

Didn't say anything about those injuries.

This is about Tait and the gamble the selectors are taking.

I like the way you make 'bowling really fast' sound like a fault.:D

Can mods move cricket threads to Bay13?

and stuart clark has proven himself ast ODI level

Tait has the best strike rate of any bowler to have taken more than 30 wickets in the Australian domestic OD comp ever

Thats good enough to ge selected in my book

Domestic competition and International Competition are completely different.

Also, who was comparing Clark's strike rate, to Tait's? Of course Tait's is better, he has played two games, FFS!
