Huh? Some of the funnest years (excluding the tragedy of Walshy) watching the Crows came in that next decade leading into the GF. Regular finals and prelims, top of the ladder finishes and eventually a GF appearance. The 2017 prelim is still currently my most favourite night of footy.

2015 had different reasons to be proud of the team after the Walsh tragedy. If you can't enjoy seasons like 2016 and 2017 or even your team making a GF it's going to be very hard to make you happy as a footy supporter!

Port are good at selling players at peak value before they slide. Polec is a classic example. Look at Chad Wingard at Port vs Chad Wingard at Hawthorn. Hell, remember the time we gave them pick 12 for Matthew Bode, while they went on to use that pick on Shaun Burgoyne?

Their trades don't always pay off, but they certainly won't die wondering.

The power would have gotten a nice first rounder for Laird a couple of years ago in our position.

in another amusing oddity of names, R15 2021, StK vs Richmond, there was a Long, Short, Broad, and Highmore all on the same field as a Butler and Baker (not sure about the candle stick maker). Also Wood and Steele.
