we are so desperate to land a target we have talked up and he isnt even a star/big name. thats how sad the club has become that we are desperate to land Cumming....when the guy we should have landed was Luko.
We don't need Luko & Luko isn't an A-Grader at this stage so it's a big risk on Port
Ehh, I was never fully on board with Luko, especially given the potential cost. Seems like Luko was never fully on board with us, either (Rozee connection and all that)

Gut feeling is if we don’t hear anything before the GF then he’s far more likely for Port. Only reason to delay would be to wait for the Perryman decision.
I still think we'll hear about Cumming before we hear about Perryman. Twomey seemed to suggest that yesterday (although it sounds like Perryman's headed to Collingwood either way)
Given these sources are coming from different management firms to Cumming’s, there is still an element of 2nd and 3rd hand info here. It also seems if Ingram’s report is to be believed that Port are the ones leaking out that they’re confident of getting him, but this is not necessarily finalized yet. When asked on 5AA on Tuesday night, Ingram’s gut feel was that it was the Crows still, but they’re all largely guessing.

We didn't need Luko for goodness sake, I'm not even sure we need Cumming. We need a bloody elite MIDFIELDER! Both are a nice get if they don't cost the earth. Luko at 7 years and multi million $$$ (and a likely first round pick) is not worth it IMO. I remain neutral about Cumming. It won't be the end of the earth if we don't get him. It will be very disappointing if we get nobody we set out to get.
Ingram seems to be in the more balanced mould of Theo, I couldn’t event tell what club he supports. Money has been obvious in his allegiances since he got blasted online about Dowling being the sub when he wasn’t.

Quick search shows Ingram's a Sydney fan from Melbourne, so yeah no allegiances in either camp

well out current list cant afford to bank on "organic growth" poor drafting from 2015-20 has put us in this hole we are in. we need to be VERY aggressive in trading and luring Free agents. i would even trade our next two first round picks cos what is the point in drafting these kids with our early picks when the club almost always messes it up or the player we pick wants to go home. offer first round picks for established players that we need. we cant afford to keep going at this rate.. 7 years no finals, a failed rebuild. the club is a mess on and off the park.
