If he kicks over 30 goals in the season 2025 it will be a big win for us. Especially if we get better output from Zurhaar and Curtis as well.

I wasn't all that enthusiastic about his recruitment, but he is a significant upgrade on Pink and Sellers.

Said all the right things in that interview!

Subjecting his family to roo, roo, roo. Jy wont even put a guernsey on his dog 😤

On another note, I’m looking forward to crash and bash type, chest marking that will be going on in our forward line if we go back to how we played at the start of the year. From Curtis, Darling and Zuurhar - there will be some pretty reckless and chaotic forward marking prowess that we haven’t seen before. You can add Ford to that too if he gets his shit together.

Just hoping that we get more from Jack at Nth than WC got from Drew when he transferred over.

Playing wise yeah, but he was so loved by the playing group as an assistant coach while with us. I’ve heard a few of the boys interviewed including Schoey on his podcast say multiple times he is just the best bloke of all time

Totally agree Larkey is the one who will benefit most from Darlings presence and experience,70 goals is not out of the question for Nick

It goes without saying Jack doesn’t have the same ceiling. However, I’m getting serious W80-mentality vibes off him. He’s really strongly backing himself in. It’s good to know that, at the very least, he’s a fully committed “North” man now. He’s here to perform - not just to mail it in and “mentor”.

At the very least, opposition defences will have to think a bit harder about Larkey/Darling, as opposed to Larkey/CCJ or Larkey/Teakle. That’s a given. That releases Zurhaar to play to his strong suit, hopefully. More crash and bash from him.

Please god let this come to fruition. Not only will it be great for us but it will be even better to see Kane in a North guernsey. He would absolutely hate it.
