his good mate Cripps

Give this good mate stuff a break, like Cripps & Yeo chatting away after the last Blues/Eagles game & up comes his cousin (they all went to the same school) then Josh Kennedy joins the ( the Cripps & Kennedy from the same town 400+ km from Perth).
Wasnt Coniglio joining a mate at the Hawks?
Just nonsense to make yourself feel better?

Not nonsense at all. They are good mates.

It does make me feel better though. So awesome Cripps’ relationships are getting talented players across the line for less cash ❤️.

I think every Suns fan accepts that Martin is leaving. Actually most fans are happy he is leaving. His game efforts in the second half of the season were pretty bad. No point to have someone who is not committed and mentally checked out. But make no mistake Martin is a fantastic talent. A couple of games early in the season when he collected Brownlow votes show how talented he is. Can he play at that level consistently in a new environment is the question.

Yes, the deal gets done but you do realise that both parties have to come to an agreement. It's not only on Suns.

No disputing Martin is talented and while others might be more consistent where they can stem the tide in the game on a regular basis, Martin does have game changing abilities, despite being inconsistent.

Unfortunately, for GC, he is now uncontracted and while you may have blocked and or demanded more last year in a trade, this year you have less control in achieving overs. Uncontracted I believe his range is around pick 20-26, slight +/- will get the deal done

Of course they would. And as for "wasting" a PSD pick, they are hardly ever used.

So they're going to waste a pick and make him in the top paid mature players on the team when he doesn't want to be there?

What about all the players who want to be there and are paid less?

Why do all this? Just in spite due to him wanting to leave?

Sounds like SOLID List Management right there!

They literally don't. He's leaving.

It's only about what return GC can get. Nothing else.

Literally no one is debating he is leaving, why bring it up?

If a deal can't be struck they are in the box seat to pick him up. Whoever wants him needs to satisfy GC's demands.

Explain your thought process to us. How exactly are they in the box seat?

What are the options if you can't strike a deal?
A: He nominates for the national draft and anyone can pick him up. If he falls to your first pick 8 you can use that or wait and hope he falls to 39 (lol)
B: He nominates for the PSD and GC can pick him up and if not MFC can, as long as they agree to contract terms which they would both happily do.

GC are very to happy to have him on their list even if he doesn't want to be there.

Source on that claim?

Because recent history says completely otherwise.

Ie. trading/losing BOTH their captains :D

Happy to let them go, but not good ol' Jack?

They will trade him if they are proposed the right deal.

If Lynch or Ablett were available in the PSD you bet your ass they would take them, like every other club would.

Just because they have traded former captains doesn't mean they will trade other players for free.

Not according to Cripps himself ..i heard him say it

No argument he said it, O'Meara & Coniglio posed for photos together, Jason Cripps was a regular at his old school keeping an eye on Josh (Patricks bro) - Nat Fyfe was there too FWIW. You tend to regard ex team mates as 'mates' especially if they could get a kick.
Just dont hang your hat on it as a recruiting strategy.

Quick one on the Eagles the 3 jumper will be available soon with Gaffy going home, Mainy wore it, keep it in the family. Wishful thinking only.

I have little doubt he will nominate Carlton just pointing out he hasn’t yet, so I repeat your talking out of your ass as if opinion was fact
You literally said it's been reported I asked where. You then said that you claim to know the basic set up of majority of the clubs contracts, which you don't. Like Iva said, you're talking out your ass

On SM-G960W using BigFooty.com mobile app

You 2 are really cute, but unfortunately we all know Martin will end up at Carlton, his contract and tenure will have nothing to do with his value, which is an early to mid 2nd rounder

Enjoy
