But he has managed to break into the side, for 17 games and averaged less than 15 touches. He's been solids but I'm not sure he demands a first round pick. You have to look at the team he is trying to break into, Not to mention his NEAFL form (I have a lot of interest in the NEAFL as a sydneysider). I actually rate him quite highly from an outsiders perspective.

A late first at best, which we don't have.
Agree with you about the stats, I am basing my opinion of the games I've seen him play, which while impressive, he's not worth giving up our first round pick for, which is what I was originally arguing. In those games he hasn't exactly had a ton of midfield time. In addition, if you compare him to Petracca, Petracca averages 2.5 disposals more per game, but 1.5 tackles less per game. In a young player, you can't exactly use disposals to say a players worth, especially where they have been played on the field.
I would probably have him at the 15-20 range realistically.
What's with the massive wraps around this kid? Do I always miss the games he plays well in, or is it an upside kind of deal?

I base it on his AFL output, not his NEAFL output. You just said you havnt watched much of him. And base your decision on possession numbers.
He has. Watch a lot of him and rates him significantly higher
You disregard an entire league to keep a valuation which favours Saints.
He advised you of other young players that have done well in afl that previously played in neafl.
Pretty much, I imagine. One thing is for sure who ever gets him will be getting a bargain....

We have plenty of players tearing up the VFL because they are good VFL players.
On Steeles afl form I can't see how he's worth a first round pick.
Pretty much, I imagine.
We have something that no other club has though that ought to get us over the line and that's a Jack Pack for him to join!
You know it's right, Jack.
Then we'll use our first rounder in the draft on Jack Scrimshaw!
We've hit the Jack-pot!You guys don't know Jack!
Maybe because he is?any reason the talk that hes going to the saints has increased?
but where has this been said? I mustve missed somethingMaybe because he is?
Someone on SEN who is based in Sydney and meant to be well in the know up there said yesterday that him to us is as good as a done deal and Brett Anderson also mentioned him to us being likely in a Tweet today.but where has this been said? I mustve missed something
So going by that he absolutely dominates the NEAFL and doesn't do much at AFL level.
I'll be very surprised if it's anything higher than our 2017 second rounder (around pick 30 probably).
gresham averages 0.2 less disposals then him and hes been playing as a small forward most the years, acres averages 2 more touches a game then him wtf lolYou do realise he has as good or better stats in the AFL then your young guns Gresham, Acres, etc... Haha, I could go on. So all of your good young players are worth about pick 30 or worse?
