I'm not talking aggregates, yes you can say Velvet kicked 100 plus goals in 2000 and 2001, but can you say he kicked the Ton in the season? No you can't. He kicked them in the season and finals combined.

IMO he has never kicked 100 goals in a season. IMO he has kicked 100 goals in a calendar year (season plus finals). Next we'll be including intra-club and Wizard Cup goals in Velvet's "magical ton's".

Clinton King - never a favourite of Richmond supporters. Had heart and courage, but ability was limited and whenever he was in the side we knew we were struggling. Legend? Never was, never will be.

Rory Hilton - Never, EVER has been put on a pedestal by Tiger fans. Yes, he was courageous when he stuffed his shoulder, but it is common knowledge that Rory was dropped that week, and only came in as an emergency when Gaspar withdrew with a calf injury. He actaully cops a fair bit from the supporters, as we have high expectations, as anyone would with a guy that was picked at number 3 in the national draft. Jury is still out, we hardly call him a legend.

If Bummer supporters took the time to look out from their padded cells, they would realise that Peverill is no legend in this game, never will be and will always be regarded as that guy that played a few good games off the rookie list one year.

What cretins like you will always fail to realise is that guys like Peverill should be admired. Here is a guy who doesn't have the natural ability of many, many who are drafted and then later delisted, but somehow he is able to play at the elite level.

I admire the fact he is able to abstract every bit of talent he can from himself. He is always accountable and always gives 110%. If more footballers were like that then maybe he wouldn;t be playing - but I guess to get the best out of your natural talent is a skill in itself.
