Agreed. Bobby is so selfless & was swamped by Dockers players all night on Friday..as was Shoota.Bobby the decoy getting all the attention. Leaving HH and Joe to do their thing.

Fortunately for us, you could say that about 6 of our small forwards at the moment (Harrison, Richards, Hill, McCreery, Schultz, and Elliott)
Somebody has to get left out when Elliott comes back. Hard to imagine it’s Elliott because his scoreboard impact is so much higher than the others ATM.
Just have to get Wrighty to tick it off from the Moulin Rouge…
Markov is a great, as is Johnny.Harrison and McCreery can take part in midfield rotations though, so we can still potentially fit them all in. The question becomes more about who plays midfield, because Mitchell and De Goey are not playing as of now.
I like keeping Crisp in there, so Mitchell’s spot comes under pressure, but we also might have to make a decision between Noble and Markov at half-back and right now Markov isn’t ahead.
Markov is a great, as is Johnny.
Blessed to have both
DecisionsOk, cool, I get it… so who makes way though?
Sullivan for De Goey
Parker for WHE
Dean for Howe
Allan for Elliott
? for McStay
? for Mitchell

At least we are finding some suitable replacements for some of our aging stars.Has been great so far. Looks a complete player. Has shown he can play up the ground as well as small forward. Contested in the air surprisingly well also.
There is a slight crunch coming for small forward selection. However, HH, Richards, Beau even Schultz can play other roles. The question will be more around size. eg. definitely don't think we'd leave out a WHE to keep one of them in.
Can all of Joe, HH, Schultz, Hill, Beau, Elliott play together? Maybe. We played all but one of them on Friday. It will come down to balance for other positions. Does Mitchell come under threat from greater midfield minutes for Beau, HH or Schultz? Is there room for Joe to spend time on the wing or half back?
If Joe and HH can keep their current form or even improve - tough ask, I feel we'll fit them in. A small forward as a sub is a good option as well. Players they'll be in competition with are Markov, Mitchell, Sullivan and maybe Noble and WHE.
Great "problem" to have. All these players will have to perform to keep their spot. Last year we lacked some of this selection pressure. Let's see if Parker can add to it.
If we do get back to full fitness, I think Mitchell could be in trouble.Harrison and McCreery can take part in midfield rotations though, so we can still potentially fit them all in. The question becomes more about who plays midfield, because Mitchell and De Goey are not playing as of now.

Noble has gone past Markov - even if Oleg gets back to 2023 form.
He's fine. He's a young player trying to fit in. It's uncool to look healthy at the Pies at the moment.Apparently richards just stepped off the plane from Perth in a moon boot.
A couple who follow me on twitter tapped me on the shoulder a few mins ago and was like— did you see who was on our flight? Fly. Schultz and Joey who is in a moon boot.

I think a full complement of mids will make us look better in the end.I concur.
I love Mitchell but I think our midfield has looked better this year when we’ve only had one of he or Pendles in there.
Crisp/Harrison/McCreery’s pace has given us another gear.

Absolutely miraculous how well we are going given we have not had a functional forwardline for 6 rounds and not our preferred since the season start.LMAO it never stops when you’re having a bad run of injuries.
Richards has potential as a high half forward/wing. Excellent user of the ball and good accumulator
He did look good on the wing in the third Q though kap. I thought he and Mihocek turned the game for us in the third. Not sure about wing, I'd love to keep him close to goals as he's very good at crumbing and getting quick accurate snaps.
He is a natural footballer and I feel he can play anywhere. But at the moment the forward line is the right position for him.He did look good on the wing in the third Q though kap. I thought he and Mihocek turned the game for us in the third.
I agree and probably not quite up to playing FT wing atm, but boy he was impressive there in the third Q.He is a natural footballer and I feel he can play anywhere. But at the moment the forward line is the right position for him.

But Carlton have real injury woes?
