Surely they just get the best deal for those picks. Noble should have nothing to do with pick 13, if GC want him badly they could just offer 23 which is very generous. Have said that, Rioli shouldn't have anything to do with pick 6, but here we are.
In a way we are being the big meanies by refusing to separate the deals. We are playing hard ball and GC don't appear at this stage to be complaining to much which suggests that Noble is a top priority.

He wont get a game if your best 26 are fit. The idea that they should be throwing in a 1st round pick and something else without something serious going back seems insane.

But this is GCS. Literally anything is possible.
I would disagree he has played about 95% of the games he could have possibly played since coming in as a mid season draft pick and he has consistently improved. He has missed about 6 games in total since he has been drafted. At 27 he appears to be coming into his prime and he is never injured. He got dropped once to a very in-form Markov but took his spot back and held it easily the next year.
He is no star but he gets a game baring big improvements from someone playing his position. GC really like his pace and want him for their game plan. Racks up 20 touches with pace off the HBF every week.

He’s worth a late second rounder at best. Fringe player - has a nice kick on him though.

Talks of 13 + 23 for Noble and a Future 1st are laughable.

13 >>> Collingwood's Future 1st, both in draft quality as well as overall position. PLUS, Collingwood are trying to get a good deal now for their Future 1st, because they know they'll get cents on the dollar in a trade next year if/when they need to trade it out (McGuane's F/S bid will eat the pick up)

So that's valuing Noble at higher than Pick 23. No. Suns will need the points from 29 as well for matching the Lombard bid.

13 + 41 for Noble and Future 1st is closer to the pin.

If pick 13 actually happens then we might as well fold the Suns, they’ll never get anywhere making deals like that.

No. GC wants a contracted Noble fairly badly. So we will get a very very good deal from a team that needs to trade out 13, 23 and 29 because those picks will be eaten by an academy bid anyway. They have other interested parties that want those picks but they will do a deal with us because getting Noble in first is more important. I'm not saying we will get 23 and 13 for Noble and a f1 but it won't be too far off that. If our deal was outlandish they would have already done a deal with someone
Fairly badly?

They have plenty of back pockets. And will pay overs to land Rioli.

Why would they again pay overs for a Noble?

Pick 13 trade looks like its a F1st for pick 13. Noble is a side issue.

Only the GCS could delist Markov who who goes on to be a premiership player and then offer up a solid pick for the guy he replaced in the side.

Still as a Carlton support I can't complain as we got a21yr old former pick 6 for a pack of chips.

Only thing covering their massive incompetence is an academy that will produce more a grade talent than any area other than Vic Metro going forward

The real issue is the Suns giving up Pick 6 for Rioli, instead of Pick 13. That’s the ridiculous deal the Suns are negotiating.

Collingwood’s deal for 13 will essentially just be a swap of first rounders.

If 13 is involved we will be getting some future picks with it to match bids on Uwland ( likely top 3 in 2025)

In: local top 3 pick in 2025 and Noble, extra points to help match Addisall ( likely top 10 pick)

Out: 13 and maybe 26 if there are enough points coming our way

I would call that a massive big picture win, wouldn’t you?
