Watched the replay again and he was awarded a free for a high tackle but he didn't immediately stop so the umpire blew play-on. He was then caught and HTB against him. Goal to Essendon.
I thought that was a bit harsh and had no idea watching at the ground that's what had happened.

Always will have his knockers and be a little underrated, he is a very consistent footballer who has been fantastic for us since coming in. Provides an enormous amount of run and drive out of the backline and sets up transitions out of defence.

There are some people that watch Noble and focus on his mistakes. And I kind of get that, they can stand out. But any objective, rational supporter will see the enormous net benefit he brings to the team. You accept the odd howler knowing the value we'll get from his run and carry, his clutch tackles, his lunging spoils, his 1%ers etc. He is an integral cog in the side and I'll never understand the hate he gets (I actually heard someone on Tuesday say that he was the worst player in the league getting consistent games... I know we're not known for our intelligence as a supporter base, but c'mon....)
