Yeah, agree with the last four posts. Not a one touch player - and I struggle to see the use of such a player in the middle. No other decent attributes to pin on him.

Essendon need one or two more classy mids and they'll be a top side. While they're relying on blokes like Stanton they will struggle to match it with the best.

I agree with OP. And with Jon Ralph stating his definition of 'elite' just confirms what we thought much about him all along.. a simpleton. Or just informing us that the Melbourne Comedy Festival is in full swing. Don't forget folks, the footy media are paid to endorse the game and if that means feeding us bullcrap then that's the likes of Jon Ralph et al staying on the payroll of their respective employers.
