Couldn't agree more. I really want the club to come out strongly and say although disappointed with DeGoey's behaviour the crazy over the top media reactions regarding DeGoey must stop.

The club must show loyalty here.

Having said all that, if the club were to stand Jordan down for his Bali 'antics', I'll be one of the first to contact the club and tell them to locate their testicles and stand by their player.

Well l could see how the AFL would be fuming, especially after NY, and how some of those at the club would be saying get rid of him, again after his indiscretions. So it does make sense in a way what the article is reporting.
Hopefully he doesn't get stood down, and he gets to explain what happened, but l don't like his chances, unfortunately, of avoiding missing a few games..
The latter comments you would expect in these articles from certain women's groups etc....

This was a mini off season - a player's association insisted on contracted break that all players were given. If they're going to suspend a player for - a bad look in the media - a bad look that a large number of players indulge in during off season... The player's association will be absolutely pathetic, if they don't come in hard themselves with their own form of pressure.

I hope there's a full investigation of all the sexual acts that jordan indulged in during his bali stay....we need to know all the details and hopefully see all the videos and photos that havent come to light so far....its the only way to clear the air ...

They just suspended smith for a bad look. Something that otherwise would have been an anonymous first strike
