Regarding ticket sales/swaps: The AFL Grand Final is protected under Australian law by anti-scalping regulations, which forbid tickets to be sold at more than 10% of their face value. Offering tickets at more than this will be deleted; continuing to try to scalp tickets will result in bans.

The next final may be different so could go back to just members only before public get a chance.

In the past you could use your PC, but I can't recall whether that was when they were issuing printed tickets ???

This is incredible, thank you for the effort. I may have missed it in the above but do you still choose a seat once you select a category or are you randomly allocated one in the selected section?

Sorry i missed you yesterday.
Last year you could only choose top tier or bottom tier. Hopefully that part stays the same.
From then on it is random.
If you don't like their choice select again.
Not sure of the wording used. Could be just cancel.

Amazingly later on when public get a go you usually have a choice.
Of course numbers available could be very limited

Can you pick what row you want or is it all just allocated randomly? I was very happy with my randomly allocated seats (on the wing row CC) so I didn’t click around much.

I sat in AA for I think the Richmond QF in 2020, and to be honest I thought it was just as good as the rows behind it, it wasn’t very hard to see past the railing at all. Plus I got to launch myself up on the railing when there was a goal and gloat at the Richmond cheer squad below, it was great fun
