Regarding ticket sales/swaps: The AFL Grand Final is protected under Australian law by anti-scalping regulations, which forbid tickets to be sold at more than 10% of their face value. Offering tickets at more than this will be deleted; continuing to try to scalp tickets will result in bans.

BigFooty does not guarantee ticket sales or swaps. It is entirely at your own risk, please make sure you trust the poster in question. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

It wouldn't let me buy any more tickets than the number of barcodes I had (2).

Not the 6 I expected.

I tried over and over but it wouldn't let me add seats.

Is it just me but did Ticketmaster/AFL screw up with the info in the email?

When you chose a seat for your members ticket it should have unlocked categories below and let you choose more. Same for the second ticket.

OK guys .... what is "Secure Ticket selection is required" ............... it won't complete my purchase ..... HELP !

There’s an option asking if you want to pay a fee to cover tickets for cancellation

You just click “no” (or yes I guess if you want that)

Thanks .... but where is it ..... I can't find it ..... now been rejected about 30 times .... about give up ......

There is a little circle you can click on to the left of "no, i dont want to secure my ticket" or whatever it says

Stuff this ... now I can't join the queue until the next lot are given access ...... had a gutfull ........ they can stick their Finals Tickets up their rectum ......

You lucky one's ..... enjoy the game.

I think it's time to get back on the Turps (before I explode) ........................ (and it's been 20yrs ..... sheesh!)

It was probably staring me in the face .................. but I couldn't find it .... (I don't believe it was there ).
Rejected a number of times more once I got in after the second "queue".

Now confirmed .... won't be going.
Thanks to all who tried to assist.

(Wait 'til the "kids" hear about this one ............. they'll probably starting investigating space in a care home).

Well i had a horrible time.
Joined queue 20 minutes before. That ended up being the best part.
I got offered nose bleed seats with every selection.
All tickets offered were not even between the 50 meter arc.
It repeatedly tried to give me 407, 408 right at the back.
I got kicked out about 8 times with "opps something went wrong"
So back to the queue and start again. Still 407, 408 then other nosebleed seats.

At 10.50am offered section 238 E bottom tier. They are usually sold as prime seats
Decided best take that before the 3 game membership starts.
Most likely some better seats will be released then but did not want to risk it at that stage.

Yep, did that

Thanks Elixuh ......I'll queue 1 more time and see if I can find it.
Hi All
Been in the queue since 9-30am this morning - tried to get a ticket about 15 times - problem is I have to put a password and I forgotten it so to reset in for my ticketmaster account and it says it will send a code to my email and no code is arriving! Any ideas anyone
Cheers

Check your junk mail the email might be there.

If not just go to the general ticketmaster site Tickets for Concerts, Sport, Arts, Theatre, Family, Events, more. Official Ticketmaster site (not via Lions email at the stage) and try to log in then request "forgot password' again
Once you have a new password you can then go via the club email.
Or sign in at the general ticketmaster site and get tickets that way.

Same here re selections ..... lowest Row offered in top tier was TT ...... and majority inside the 50m arc (most close to behind the goals).

When I finally caved and tried to order these .............. had the rejection referred to above (over 20 times).

Now that I'm calmed down (a little), I am glad they failed ...... because I would have hated being in those seats (the couch is better than those).

ps SWMBO came back from the Dog Walk too soon ....... made her try to find "the button next to NO" ...... and she couldn't either ....... I must have gotten even more exasperated ....... because she said "I'm going to get groceries", and disappeared out the door when I tried again in the second queue).

(ps Don't tell her ........... but I do hope she comes back)

You can always try again before 3pm as you now should know the process.
Nothing to lose except a little stress. But you know you can just give up again and nothing lost except some time.
It would not surprise me at all that good seats are retained and available later.
as a matter of fact i bet there will be.

Anyhow after that little mess with ticketmaster i am now off to dentist for an extraction.
Who said the day could not get worse.

HATE DENTISTS ............................... but would prefer tooth extraction to trying to get Finals Tickets anyday.

(so would SWMBO)

I went back to the queue three times ended up getting on the fence .
Sweet,
was waiting to try and get my section , but after three time outs and about 30 attempts I figured that will do.
If it's like the last few years , once the window opens for the general public you can choose specific seats, and they are usually what you want, but a bit risky of missing out.

I had a similar experience to Section 5 post earlier.
3 Platinum Members and 2 Golds with good seats on the wing all year and then we are expected to take crap in section 408 ,eastern end ,nosebleed section and copping late afternoon sun and pay royally for it.
As others have said, why cant we have the right to purchase our own seats from Home and away season.
Recall years ago this may have been the case?
Rejected allocations at least 10 times before I finally got tickets on the wing opposite side that were reasonable.
How are people getting Stanley st wing as just kept coming up with sections 408 and 407 and lower down repeatedly? Also , this was at 10:15 am so expect should have been good availability still..

We were just a bit unlucky. It happens.
The seats i got are not terrible i just prefer to be on the top or middle tier.
I am sure lots of people would like the seats i got and i most likely would prefer what they ended up with.

I would have thought in the modern tec age you could at least choose a section or multiple sections as a starting point.
From that point the computer chooses the seats. You can then reject and search again in those sections
That way people would not be rejecting the seats offered as much as now then searching again.

They will never allow people to initially chose their seats.
Human beings are hard wired to not chose a seat next to other people so you end up with a huge amount of singles.
Way more than they already do.
