Dylan Stephens is another unsigned one. Looked elite on the weekend. 27 touches and a goal.

Part of the reason why we performed well against Brisbane is because soft utensils like Amon & Bonner were not there.
We should never play Farrell & Bonner in the same team; only room for the one sweeper position.
Where both are lovely kicks but cannot defend

The more likely one is Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera, who is unsigned from 21 draft. There was some talk that he was unsettled and that we were in his ear last year.
Yes and the Saints are applying pressure on him to extend his contract.
If they have a bad year and he still has not signed by year end...............

In the last five years the injury prone McKay has played less games than Fanta.
No, he hasn't. You're the strangest poster of this board. Every time you post a stat like this, you get it wrong. Is it some sort of fancy avant-garde trolling? If so, it's working, because it drives me nuts.

If we were gonna pay so much for McKay I’d rather give it a miss
I’d try and offer that money for dekoning which as a young ruck would round out our midfield group for the next 10 years
And then stay in ratugoleas ear and he can be the key back down there with alliir

The salary cap negotiations may mean we, and others, have a lot more cash to play with. We also have Lycett, Bonner, Dixon, Hayes, Jonas, amongst others, out of contract and unlikely to command much next year.

We need to tie up Bergs and Mitch for sure, but I would imagine we still have plenty to pay McKay and/or Himmelberg.

Interesting space for Port as we are well sorted on paper across the board but desperately need one or two of Pasini/Marshall/McCallum and Teakle/Visenti/Hayes to come good.

Both South Australian clubs “have strong interest” in Hawthorn young gun Will Day, reports The Herald Sun. The 21-year old, who was drafted to the Hawks out of West Adelaide with Pick 13 in the 2019 National Draft, has held off contract talks with the club on his expiring deal until season’s end.

Ongoing injury setbacks have been limited Day to just 34 senior games since he made his debut in 2020, having played over 12 games just once in his four seasons.

Day sounds great, but doesn't suit an urgent need.

We need to put in a bid in to maximise his cost (draft picks/$s) for the West Lakes mob.
All I'd say, is who did he grow up supporting. Seems to be what is driving the returns home at the moment.

There seems a fair few names in the pool for possible home/SA returns at the moment W Day, Pickett, NWM

Pickett, day, wanganeen milera in that order if they are the 3 options. Someone totally left field is going to pop up though.

Off until end of year

Yeah that means gone.

I liked him off half back, interested to see how he goes as a mid.

Reckon he’s an ideal target for the crows and they’ll go hard.

Will Day would take without thinking twice.
Crows aren't using a early pick on a half back with their midfield being the mess it is and our pick 35 vs their 25 is not a big difference if he chooses us. Perfect profile with this group.

Are you kidding? SA born hbf located interstate - he'll be vice-captain at the crows after a year. ;)

Everything depends on Pickett. He is the main man and if he decides to come to Port he will take all our resources.

Day, NWM etc. are all sideshows to the Pickett main event.

It's hard to see who Day and NWM push out unless Bergman decides to leave.

Will Day for pick 35? Have you lost your mind?

Imagine somebody popped into our board to offer us pick 35 for Georgiades. That's basically what you've just posted.

Reckon we could nab a pick in the 60s for Bergman?

Yeah there’s no way we could get day for a second rounder , but I’m positive the crows would follow the same route as they did with dawson if day asks to be traded there.

tho i reckon if the crows don’t have an earlier psd pick than hawks it will be harder for them to pull off.

Vic clubs would think nothing of offering a 2nd rounder for Bergmann.

They are both in a similar position where form this year will go a long way to deciding value.
