David Noble is the CEO of Dick Johnson Racing that is headquartered in Queensland.

Gold Coast probably gave the better contract offer than Brisbane.

Correct.
And apparently he also has a twin brother living up there.

They are actually headquartered not far from our place .. At Stapylton, on the Brisbane/Goldcoast highway, halfway between Brisbane & the Gold Coast. David Noble's property is not far from there.

Sam Edmund reporting Soldo has become 'disenchanted'. With Sweet establishing himself as a reliable ruckman and Dante needing games next year, this is one where we ought to admit we got it wrong, trade for a packet of chips (cant imagine anyone giving up a 2nd rounder) and get his salary off the books.
Huh? How did we get it wrong? Five weeks in, and Soldo was going brilliantly as solo ruck. In fact everyone was thinking the opposite ... that we had wasted our time with Sweet.

I actually think it wont be possible to keep three "first" ruckmen. Soldo will be in demand, and could yield a good trade return. Happy if we trade him for a good pick. he will fit into a few teams as first ruck.

If Soldo goes because his partner can't handle Adelaide then clearly the SA clubs need some kind of salary cap incentive to maintain fairness.

Call it the Cost Of Unhappy Girlfriend Abandoning Ruckman (COUGAR) allowance.

I've heard they are considering a PEPSI allowance:

Partner
Exiting
Player
Superficially
Insufferable

He's 31 next year. What's the point? He'll just cost Lorenz development opportunities.

I don't know why people are so keen to pick over other team's delisted trash. Wanganeen hasn't got it and we weren't interested when we had a chance, Baldwin is always injured, Hind is over 30 and not good enough for Essendon.

Hard pass on all 3.
Oh I wouldn't have any of the 3 but my point more so was it's weird how some in this board were considering Wanganeen and Baldwin. The only one I'd take out of those 3 would be Hind but even then I wouldn't really want him given our current list shape

Huh? Port literally got Zerk-Thatcher from Essendon and he's legit been one of the better key defenders this entire season even with some down moments 🤦 Tex has potential too.
BZT wasnt delisted was he? He requested for a trade out of Essendon so he isn't an Essendon reject. Tex Wanganeen is not AFL standard

Sam Edmund saying Hawks and Port going hard for Perryman, likely going to Port.

Apparently we have made a late charge for Cumming but Adelaide in the box seat.

Again the Soldo disenchantment rumour - apparently Saints going hard but, my own views, would seem a strange choice given the dominance of Marshall and the fact two ruck setups are very out of vogue.

Sam Edmund/SEN is reporting Adelaide are in the box seat for GWS defender/wingman Isaac Cumming, with a 5-year deal possibly on the table.

Some Saints supporters having been calling for Marshall to play permanent forward. Maybe they might offload King.

Sadly he can't stay on the park with his fragile body failing him, where he did not even play a VFL game this year.

Yes unfortunately he got hit with the injury black cat. Real pity, was tracking as an excellent KPF until his first major knee injury. Is a great kid, but like you said, his body let's him down.
