For all his reputation as an elite user, Cumming is a massive clanger merchant. He might have improved as he has matured, but I remember some farcical mistakes early in his career.

Not fussed about Cumming at all.
It's more that I think a lot are more looking at it as Cumming Vs pick 96.

One would likely help a premiership push, the other is unlikely to ever play AFL based on our recent speculative drafting history.

1 down. Perryman to Pies almost a given now you feel.

The Crows board wont go in to meltdown now!

I had a bit of a giggle when I saw they had a 51 page thread that was less than 2 weeks old for a player that hadn't even committed to them

Bizzare

As stated above Cumming was a free hit.
We need big bodied types, how many times have we all said our team looks like boys playing against men.
I just hope this trade period doesn’t turn into another lot of bog average list cloggers.

Richards is touring our facilities soon, so may still happen
I’m not sure about Richards
For me the game is changing and what was a small forward years ago is now quite a tall forward.
I was surprised Charlie Cameron is 6 ft in the old scale.
That’s the new small forward size.
Your midget forward is dying out, they’re getting bigger every year like the population is in general.
I can see in years to come there won’t be anyone in a AFL side under 190cm.

Did you tell Hawthorn that?

He's 2cm taller than Jnr Rioli.

Expect Boak to definitely get another year with no Cumming and no Perryman.

Geez we've missed out on quite a few free agents in the last couple years.

Maybe Kreepy Kenny™ The Groomer isn't as attractive an option as they'd have us believe.

Yeah I’m talking about the future of footballers.
The old rover is dead, the small is going to be bigger as time goes on.
that’s a pretty narrow take
those small nippy types with big engines are priceless

Brent Daniel’s is only 1.7m

Plus they attract ample frees from taller opponents as well.. can’t see them ever being an unwanted commodity up front

This would rule out more than 50% of the Crows' squad if it were to happen hahaha

Did you tell Hawthorn that?
They definitely have some small smalls but will it take the to a flag?
No guarantees they will take the extra step next year, other teams will do more homework on them after this year.
You’re old enough to remember the old rover, 5’5 ish.
They’re dead and buried, look around at kids today, 6 foot is nothing for a teenager.

The average height of the male population has increased over the years just like the height of the average footballer.
What I’m saying is in say 30 years time the small won’t be that small.
It’s just a biological fact.
