I have no idea what Facebook stuff you’re talking about, I was searching for a different article that had him ranked 2 lol when I found that one. I’ve said I don’t agree with those rankings but they indicate how well he was playing and how people were ranking him.

He’s not a Melbourne player anymore, good luck to him wherever he ends up but I still have him better than other ruckman at the same age, his influence on the midfield when in the ruck (especially first half of the year) was big. Spewing to be losing him.

Get your facts right. Belly had only been employed for 2 weeks when the Hogan deal went through and he's on the record saying he didn't want to get him at all. He was trumped by Steve Rosich. Langdon was uncontracted (exactly like Jackson) so you can't get much for him.

I read that aboit the Hogan deal.... it seems to have come from every Dockers favourite media personality Kim Hagdorn. In this thread alone he's been bashed repeatedly and I'm pretty sure someone said the club blacklisted him years ago. He couldn't possibly be telling the truth here due to his obvious vendetta against Freo, right? Or is it just a case of you believing him when it suits?

Georgiades’ 2nd year was better than Hawkins and Riewoldt’s 2nd seasons. Buddy was pretty decent in his 2nd year but had already played too many games to be eligible for the rising star.

Nah mate, comes from Belly himself. He was interviewed on attempting to keep Neale (He infamously referred to it as a feather in his cap if he could persuade Neale to hang around and not join Brisbane). This is pretty meaningless, Andy Brayshaw didn't get a nomination for rising star, he was headed for one until gaff thought differently!

Sean Darcy could've got a nomination most games he played in his first two season, 14 touches, 40 hitouts on debut, 16 touches, 33 hitouts, 7 tackles and a goal in his 2nd game just a couple of examples.

Some media were also saying Jackson was worth $1.5m over 10 years, those people aren't list managers, they are people whose job it is for you to click on the link by making silly statements. Darcy imo was the best 1-2nd year ruck since Grundy.

No it doesn't

Freo aren't trading in Darcy they are trading in Jackson. The only afl players relevant form are players they are looking to acquire not players they already have contracted.

English was elite for disposals/Intercept Possesions/Score Involvments/Marks/Meters Gained Above average for clearances/Inside 50s/Goals/Tackles/Pressure acts. He is average for his tap work would this not be exactly what they want an undersized Jackson to become?

The Melbourne fans wants us to look at Jackson’s non ruck stats to show us he is the 3rd best ruck in the league. But when compared to other ruck men those same stats don’t count because they are full time rucks. Can’t have it both ways. Tom Hawkins was pretty good in the ruck on the weekend.

He has played 2 seasons in a side that hardly lost a game
