Malceski needs to be dropped

how long do you think he will be out for?

We've got Port at the SCG next week so I'd suspect he'll be back for that unless he's aweful in the reserves, or if we have a 100+ win tomorrow night and every player is in the top 5 if that makes sense.

Basically, I'd rate him a 80% chance to be back next week.

Anybody got any news on how Mal went this weekend in the reserves?

Great player when in motion; One of my personal favourite HBF'ers, beautiful skills.

34 touches with 4 goals. hopefully the confidence has returned because hes too important to leave out for long. I think he'll be back this week.

Roos said in an interview yesterday that Mal had, by all reports, done exactly what was asked of him, and "without having sat down and discussed it with the assistant coaches" the signs were very good that he'd be back in seniros this weekend.

That MUST be at the expense of Buchanan.

At one point very late in the game Saturday night, when we were behind, a close-up shot of Roos on the sideline showed him clearly screaming the word "Monty" 2-3 times and furiously pointing and gesturing towards the field.

check out the expected port team and try match ups, I think Amon will be required, as may be Mal, I dunno just yet, gotta take the oppo into account...

F*** even I want to drop him...... He is absolutely hopeless now.... Give him a month in the reserves until he can fix his disposal.

Good to hear about Mal Can't wait for the sound of that left foot kick soon.

See I am weird and often disagree!:D

If I was Roosey....(I didn't necessarily want him dropped anyway) I would say GREAT GAME:thumbsu:...haven't bothered to watch the tapes... good stats... had a.... blinder?!

NOW.... SHOW US THAT AGAIN....consistency is what we want to see!

Good luck Mal.... here are your KPI's in the ressies.... THEN YOU WILL BE BACK ... better than ever:)

I was tipping Currie to get a go earlier this week too, but i think Roosy has said in an interview earlier this week that Pyke was the one who would be in contention for a ruck spot. I really hope Currie comes in though, i wanna see what the bloke can do, but it looks unlikely.

Spot on Corps.

Also... Malceski SHOULD destroy anyone in the ACT/AFL, even if out of 'senior' form. It is not the possessions or goals, but the 1%ers, hard ball gets, receives, tackles etc etc. HOW did he get those possessions. Was it given to him? Did he go in and get it?

He should definitely serve another week.

call bullshit on that. He's clearly in our best 22, he's been training down the house, bring him straight back in with the message "now produce that form in the 1s like you use to and we know you can again." Davis got picked off by a sniper looking for a scalp in the 2s last year. I can just see something like that happening to Mal.

Think i read an article his gonna get a call up.

"I'd say 'Mal' would probably be 95 per cent; he just has to get through training and he'd be definitely one to come in. And 'Crouchy', we'll monitor as we get through training," Roos said yesterday. "We just need to see how a couple of them train tomorrow before making a final decision.

clearest indication yet that Mal will line up on Sunday against Port.

Just a Question about Currie?
He was talked up in the pre season, where is he in the 2's or injured?

Had an interrupted pre season and therefore a slow start to the year. Got overtaken for the 2nd ruck spot by Mike Pyke. Last two ressies matches has been in the best and there are those supporters like me who are just busting for him to play senior football.
