I was being a smart Alec, I think we need the 90 like the original poster implied. Add in 70 for Larkey and that’s 160 goals so only 7 goals a game

Precursor to this is that the 2 x Daicos boys and De Goey only played the first half.

They were probably their best 3 in the first qtr when they got ontop.

The other Precursor is that Wardlaw only played just over 1 x qtr when factoring in his bench time and was clearly our best player for the period when out there and got ontop of all of those 3 himself when they were all on the ground.

First qtr Collingwood were really strong and we were poor . This will happen with a young side the amount of inexperience and lack of afl games in these young players is huge. Enjoy the excitement and ride . These qtrs will happen until they get more experience. Next three was really exciting with lots of flair Young talent is huge.

Fair calls on all of them. I have a feeling that if we gave games to biggie instead of corr it would put us in a better position. He did a lot of good things today, that kick into the middle in red time, I can't see corr making that kick, It only just worked but biggie took some great marks when it was his turn, overall our backline looked 800 percent better than last year (I realise it's round zero). Who did they have missing from their forward line? Mihochek and Jamie Elliot definitely. Lots of positive signs though. Nice post mate

The key really is rolling 8/10 blokes through the middle so players like LDU will be running flat chat in the last two minutes of the game like the first.

The problem for Luke is his one wood is the long kick down the line. That’s no longer a requirement.

A comprehensive win is less meaningful in these games (although the alternative of being on the end of one would be depressing) but what we did well was find a way to hit targets in the forward line and not drop our intensity for four quarters, in some pretty decent heat.

The two endgame simulations were valuable.
