Geeze a few players lucky to not have reds this weekend.

Slow motion and freeze frames look a lot worse than it did in real time.
Doesn't change the fact he slides into Adrian's ankle.

Don't disagree and in hindsight he's pretty lucky but from the referee's perspective he was trying to get a touch on the ball, doubt the ref was able to see the contact to the ankle.

Watching live it looked a heavy challenge, but Fuchs got away with one on Saturday. Some are just lucky I guess.

I think it looked horrible in real time to be fair. Worse on the replay.

Makes no difference that he was trying to get a touch on the ball... thats what every tackler is trying to do! :drunk::drunk:

He should have been off. Chelsea got lucky but they'll no doubt take it and run.

Yeah, Ive already changed my mind and in later post said he was lucky to be still on the pitch. That 'nah' was to seeing it live and once and it didn't look as bad as the close up and freeze frame. I guess lucky the refs don't have that technology

Kante was very lucky not to get another yellow and IMO his challenge was worse than Costas, but he's not a 'villian' so escapes the scrutiny.

I also think the fact diego wasnt coming in at pace , was more a standing tackle (if that makes sense) which is what saved him.

We gelled well. Deserved the win. Really liked our mids games (oscar kante matic)

Shawcross/Adam/Cattermole disagree with this.

To be fair I thought the yellow in the 2nd minute or whatever it was was silly. Challenge was nowhere near bad enough to warrant a card.

Great to see Eden on the scoresheet first game. Couldn't put up with another season of x has more goals than Hazard.

I really wish someone had scored two this weekend. :(

No escaping the fact that Taylor absolutely bottled the Costa decision. Commentators defending the decision disgraceful as well. Chelsea should consider themselves extremely lucky.
What about the West Ham player raising his arm in the box to block Oscar's FK?

What about Carroll's dive that lead to two set pieces and their goal?

I love how it's only Chelsea that got lucky with the refs.

Snodgrass too.

Snodgrass is actually a good player though. Chambers is not.

Would have worked better if you'd said Diomande.

Although tandem bicycle kicks are nothing to be sneered at.
