I was too, then he decided to turn up unfit for pre-season and be worse at VFL level than Bellchambers (playing with a broken knee cap, a dodgy ankle and a broken navicular on the same leg at the same time) was at AFL level.

Determined from what I hear. Was shat with the way he was made sub twice after having a great SF at the expense of Masten who came straight back in and stayed there after doing not much.

Large body, strong overhead mark, versatile and great tank. He does the team stuff, blocking, one percenters, goes back with the flight in contests

Occasionally loopy kick, not always a huge hurt factor.

The kind of guy who if playing every game will be a solid role player, with the odd surprise BOG.

For example hasn't played an onball role in years, but was near best in the qualifier against Hawks.

Can't see Richmond taking him if this is the case. You have just described Shaun Grigg perfectly.

Release him from his contract and allow the new club to get him for free via FA - on the proviso the contract is reasonable

That should bump up compo to band two and about pick 20ish - which is more than any club would offer us

I don't think that is the case - wasn't with dal santo

Dal Santo was out of contract but the club had the option to extend his contract by a year, it chose not to exercise that right when it was happy with the circumstances surrounding Dal Santo's departure.

Good luck finding a club to pay an early second rounder. Don't think there will be to many bites personally.

Only way we get a early 2nd rounder is if we add pick 37 or 52.....which may slide out to 39 with a couple more compo picks.

To be honest would not be the only one annoyed at Masten's 'goldenboy' status...

Dal Santo was a restricted FA.

Also, based on past compensation, Rosa might not even be worth compensation.
