Ever the great Coach has chosen to favour geriatric players over youth .....after getting all those AFL Draft concessions

Shiels 32 YO .....had already retired from HAW
Greenwood 32 YO

Meanwhile Draft Pick #3 Phillips, remains in the magoos

So does this make Clarko a **** Coach ?

The Roos have a team littered with gun kids, putting the old boys in is just to take some hits and keep the kids fresh for as long as possible and on the park.
It's the sort of plan that sets a club up, far from the complete rubbish our club displays.

You're absolutely right, and the numbers support that.

Their highest CBA midfielders from every game this season have been LDU (24), Powell (22), Wardlaw (19) and Lazzaro (22). They get some mid time from Simpkin (26) as well.

No player under 26 has had more than 10 CBAs in a game for the Crows this season.

Listening to Silvers on 5AA, he’s acknowledged ball movement needs to improve but again going down the players are out of form, we had pressure put on internally and made some changes, expect a response.

All players don’t go out of form without something being wrong, how about putting it on the coaches?
Yep, no doubt we're coaching really well, just playing badly

The players definitely are out of form though. The Fremantle game had absolutely atrocious skills from players who are very capable of hitting up a target. That can be (and is) true at the same time as there being plenty of other things going wrong.

I don’t think you can say that. On what basis are they individually out of form?

That the entire team is confused, without system, poorly led - how is that a player is out of form

That’s just a convenient excuse to point the finger away from the coaches

When everyone starts in round 1 like crap, that’s not form.

100%

First quarter looked very promising for youse. Nank is classy. As a casual, I kept think he was Raschele! Laird and Keays were handy. Mark Keane should develop to be a top CHB!

Second quarter was another arm wrestle but there was an iconic moment - near your RHB area, there were 4 Crows to 1-2 Demons. Crows handballed to maintain possession and it ended up with Crouch. He then proceeded to bomb it up the field for a Demons interception.

When I saw that, I thought he we go again🤦.

Needed a player who either took on the demon player to create an overlap or kick better to conitibue possession.

LOL Ch7 Commentator (trying to make it sound like we won't get belted) asked what Nicks has in his bag of tricks for the final term.
That's hell-funny.

We all know he has nothing. Not EVEN a bag of tricks to dig into.
