McLeod doesn't feel like past players are welcome at the Crows

Have been told stories at events where he refused to speak to members. Unless you're a corporate he doesn't give a shit.

Im happy Roo is actually addressing these comments in the public space, where the **** is Chapman? I get the feeling this more about McLeod’s relationship with Chapman, not Roo, but he’s letting Roo take all the public backlash.

I’m actually on McLeod’s side now because he is backing up his original comments with some real stories. Chapman better stay to his word and depart at the end of the season, or better yet now.

Roo says this morning it's been a really "annoying" week for him.

In other words, this is an annoyance for him. He keeps saying he wants to make Andrew feel welcome, but what he doesn't understand is that Andrew isnt talking about just himself. Roo still can't accept that there is a broader issue.

On a side note, Andrew Fagan liked a tweet the other day that said (paraphrasing) that the members elected Roo as their member rep, so if they dont like it they only have themselves to blame. I mean, Jesus effing Christ seriously?

The club really needs a decent PR expert. Seems like none of them have a ****en clue

The club needs leadership. It currently has none.

Macca is right, all they do is deflect and spin in order to avoid being accountable or having their position and status questioned.

And Roo is part of the problem not the solution. His comments on this issue adds more relevance when he basically told Crows supporters to "jam it" last year.

This club is in complete denial.

Unlike some on here a few of us are capable of changing opinions as more facts come out

The response from the club and its cavalcade of mouthpieces was appalling. You shouldn’t have needed anything further to have noticed that. And then there’s the simple fact that we know our club culture is shit, it came out of the review. We’re an admin focussed club, the evidence is everywhere.

You're incapable of positive thought, there's no real point discussing it with you.

I’m positive he has no intention of going. That’s why he got the Advertiser to publish those articles about him being the right man for the job and him saying that he might have to give a bit more and stay on. It’s all a lie, those quotes make it very clear that he wants to stay. He knows public sentiment is against him and he doesn’t want to go out like that. He’s planning to stay, hence, the out clauses in his quotes. You know he didn’t say he was definitely going, he said it was definitely the plan. It’s lies. Didn’t he come out and say that he’d never heard of any issue with Macca and that those comments didn’t match his actions at the club. Turns out Macca has had numerous uncomfortable conversations. You do realise that your chairman is a bare faced liar and will do it direct to your face.

I don’t think they necessarily have to replace Roo at this point in time. More likely Chapman or Fagan. And they need someone gifted with EI. Because by sounds of it, they haven’t been listening to anyone nor followed through with recommendations of the review they don’t consider important

Jameson’s comments recently are of concern. Smart would have similar beliefs

The club is still of the mentality that we know best and any negative comment is an attack, not a learning. Macca's most recent comments are 100% spot on.

It's amazing that after the complete cluster of the past few seasons and need for an external review, the findings and reports on progress against those findings are still shrouded in secrecy.

I would love to see Macca elevated into a culture role that has board voting weight. Roo can stay but there are cancers to be rooted out.

Chapman - weak as p*ss and a complete leader in the negative aspects of the club

Jameson - nothing positive about him around the club

Smart - the worst one of all and the first to go. Remember his arrogant stance on that stupid jumper idea. He reeks of we know best

Roo: “I want him to be happy at the club... lets sort it out, that’s all I want to do, just fix it up and move on and make the footy club better and give the current playing list and the coaches the best opportunity they can to have a good season."

Aka: "Get Bunj to shut up and let us go about our business"

Outside noise is irrelevant. The only thing that’s important is how happy they are with themselves inside the four walls. And they’re happy alright.

I'm not sure that'll be the case now.

It'll be dependant on these players Bunji speaks of. If they come forward and help the bloke out then I have no doubt they'll walk. If he remains a lone annoying voice (their thoughts not mine) then it's easier to pass it off

We know Rob runs from a fight, so if the pressure is applied he will run.

It has been an even bigger annoyance for supporters over the last 20 years who have had to put up with the most incompetent leadership in the Afl. The leadership are also very adept at taking no responsibility for it. Instead of getting upset Riccuito you should man up and try helping improve the clubs culture unless you are part of the problem which i know you are. Well done McLeod for being the only honest one down there and saying what every supporter knows. McLeod imo is basically calling out Chapman and Roo who have jointly dismantled our club. McLeod cannot be ignored which is what Chapman and his cronies would like to do.

Can we get McLeod to take over from Chapman? Sounds like he actually understands what the issues are down there, at least. Change has to be driven from the top, so let's put him at the top.

McLeod would need to apply for a banking traineeship first to even be considered.

imagine if Roo told Macca to support another club.
