Well said. Need to face the fact that we are done with this group. Keep a few older guys for the transition but cull the rest over the next 2 years.

I said blow up the midfield 2 days ago and no one agreed... Midfield is the major reason we are getting torched now the call is cull most the list.
Chop a couple limbs to save the tree.

The Joel and Danger midfield era is over. The Narkle, Constable, Parfitt era will not cut it.
Keep Duncan, Guthrie and Menegola and go hard at getting the next midfield that is good enough.

This is the problem with this site. The same things happen and the assumptions come out.
No fan is accepting of recent finals performances, and if you want to believe that the club are internally then maybe I have a block of land in a swamp to sell you.

I am not taking issue with the usual gameday venting. At 110-33 it is warranted.
Just the over-the-top nonsense about sacking the coach and blowing up the list.

There needs to be a realisation that it will not occur.
You get that right? They aren't about to torch the list and push out the coach.

It also isnt going "overboard" to call for something to change with the coach, he should be accountable for his record in finals, which has been terrible since 2011.

Change with the coach has happened every year. Our game plan has had drastic changes in the last 8-10 years.
The one constant seems to be that we get smacked in the middle in finals we lose.

Excellent. Cannot wait for his sacking. If it's worth doing so, this year would be great, but happy to give him another year to bleed out the waste on the list if it makes sense financially. I think I'll spend spring to draft my letter, so the club gets it when it all calms down.

Honestly you can defend Scott with everything you have all you like, we have a fundamental failure of SYSTEM and effort. That's absolutely on the coach just as much as the players.
Not even considering that we play a system that is simply not designed for finals football nor have players trained in such a way as to exploit that exact system.
