How did you both go? I was able to get a GA ticket to our game against the Bulldogs via the members sale yesterday, but had a real devil of a time trying to get a couple of general public tickets today. Failed there, and also failed trying to get tickets to Adelaide v Geelong. Anyone have any wins this morning? Ticketek has been disgraceful the last couple of days.

Ended up sorting out our membership issue just in time to get member tickets to our game. Also managed to snag tickets to Tigers/Freo in Barossa, Pies/Swans at AO and Port/Hawks on the Sunday night. We were very lucky but we did have 5 people all in the queue for when Ticketek inevitably stuffed up.

Yeah having multiple people on standby helped. Our group had that as well as multiple browsers/devices running haha. We eventually got tickets to Adelaide v Geelong but (a) they are restricted viewing and (b) one of them is in a different section. So there will be a bit of musical chairs going on before the game or during the first quarter. Yep, I'm gonna be "that guy" ruining it for everyone.

Can always go on the hill/standing room. I didn't mind AO for that reason last time although it will be legitimately packed for that game. We are general admission for the Pies/Swans but a similar thing to you happened when trying to get tickets. We had 5 barcodes but they were showing an error when we entered them. We assume we had mistyped them or something but no luck. Logged back in 2 hours later and tried again and they worked first try.

I am now living in “the big smoke” Brisbane permanently, so have upgraded from 3 game membership to season membership. When will we find out our seats? I am getting a little nervous.

Membership renewals were up to 9 Dec. So I imagine they are working through the requests.

I know my mate got his move, to his preferred (3) seats, which means the people sitting there the last couple of seasons have moved as well.

It looks like basically every club in the league get a cap, a scarf, something, we get a bumper sticker and a massive price rise.

Can we have physical cards this year. Remember the ticketmaster outage?

I have no idea if it's true but i read somewhere on bigfooty that the cheapest essendon permanent seat is $1600.

I chose to believe because it makes me feel better about our $500 price increase

Is it unique to Australia that so many members with match tickets stay away from games in such large numbers?

The day games used to be problem for us because of kids sports commitments. And I know people with young kids who miss the 7.50pm start games.

Funny thing, two out of three memberships have $30 voucher, whereas the other has $20.
Myself and eldest son we are both Silver members, yet he has $20 voucher.
Other son who has just restarted his membership received the $30

12yo received his Hawks membership today, including a physical membership card and lanyard , cap, Hawks shop voucher. No Jack Ginnivan car freshener. Our club is shit when it comes to 'memberships'.

Imagine if we had an 70k stadium to match.

Aside from plenty of those 70k not being based in Brisbane it would be great to have a stadium that big, but if we bottom out they’ll be playing in front of 25,000 with 45,000 spare seats. Like watching Norf at Marvel.
