Other than the actual seats themselves (all behind the goals from memory), Flexi is definitely the way to go IMO.

Even without the discount it's easier money wise picking what games you want and when you want, rather than having to front up each fortnight and move plans around because you "have" to go to the footy, even when it's us vs the top team and you know it's going to be nothing but a colossal waste of time and a shit show.

Flexi and then choose the fun/blockbuster games you want and it's sorted. Get a lot of the good parts without the cost or the bad parts.

Flexi is just fine if you’re a fair weather supporter.

Obvs not obsessed, just a fan.

Thats how the khents sucked me into a full season membership...got discounted 4 game flexi halfway thru the season then the following year they added it on but i got it removed and then this year sat thru 9 games.

I moved north so had to give up my seated membership regardless this year.

At some point I'll be back in Perth though and will just boot the membership up again. By that point games will hopefully be a bit funner to watch. They said I won't have to wait in the que.

Not missing it at the moment tbh. Enjoyed not paying an exorbitant amount to watch the team each week in 2024 when i could just tune in from home.

Or have other commitments like your own sport on Sundays which rules out attending pretty much half the home games in that rubbish afternoon time slot. Flexi is a happy medium between wasting money now on a full membership and going to the back of the queue when I can eventually upgrade.

Bumping this as I'm unsure where else to put it. Did anybody else apply for a seat change?
My experience was a lot better than the farce that was the gather round ticket release

In a nutshell, window opened over an hour early but the seats I wanted didn't become available until a couple of hours after the window officially opened
I've moved from 545 to 516 in the hope of getting less sun for our afternoon games
I relied on the Virtual Venue , but time will tell if I made the right choice

Applied to have a look this year but there was nothing great. And i'd only pony up for good seats. I have the 2x seats in the upper tier and never have had my resale tickets taken which is a pain in the ass if I can't make it. Will defs be checking more often next window.

I did think to apply in 2019 but then had no idea where to actually move to.
So I spent the covid year and the next 3 seasons scanning in and just jumping into any empty seats around the ground for a bit of a look when possible. It's now become a bit of a thing when I meet mates somewhere else anyway and some games do have a scoring end where you can just move to and enjoy at quarter time.

Anywhere 105-140 305- 340 will cook you in the sun most afternoons. The higher up tiers 505-540 actually get a decent amount of shade and the added bonus of being quite dry with most weather coming from the south or south-west.

The opposite wing 110 -125 while having a better time in the shade really cop a nasty breeze and rain in the face when it's winter. This is where the benches are if you like to keep an eye on that- but it's also difficult to see into the dugout from above.

Right behind the goals at both ends get super busy and I think has a lot of general public and kids. Dickheads too if you're not keen on that hit up the wings. The wings have a lot more of the older crowd and more members.

The pocket closest to the train line is where you'll see our players warming up if that's a consideration.
The opposite pocket is where the eagle is released pre-game. (Up right at the screen)

If given a choice I would say that around Block 337 might be the best seats all around, but anywhere in the the middle tier stands (anything starting with "3") give the best view and gets you closest to the action. With the river or "south wing" having the best spot for the weather. Also gives best access to the Camfield after a game🍻 which tends to be the only thing to look forward to some weeks😟.

-One last thing the open air boxes kind of suck and I expected a bit more for the cost. I've only been during the WAFL and cricket so maybe the AFL package is better but I doubt it.

That's a great analysis! We moved from 525 to 305 to get a better vantage point and definitely cop the sun in the first few rounds. It settles down by May though (as the sun is lower in the sky) and the better view is worth it. I'd love to get on the wings in the 300s but I've never been able to find 4 seats there.

I changed from 113 which is where the players box is to 331 which is behind the river end goals.

Hope theres not to many dickheads there.

High behind the goals for the win. Best seats in the house for nuffies that like to over analyse gameplans etc

River side gets no sun during games either.

Personally I love level 5 as i find much easier access to drinks/toilets than the shamozzle on level 1 but that's just my opinion

I have tried the seat swap the last few years. Have good seats in 113 but do want to move up to A reserve seats. Find the system has lots of single seats, lots up high and lots in the sun. A bit of effort from the eagles would eliminate the single seats and open up a lot more options.
