We are even behind Melbourne and the Dogs
We are lagging behind the following too:

Being behind Melbourne and the Dogs is bad enough, but we are 20,000 behind Collingwood and Hawthorn which is embarrassing ;)

Re: Membership Counter

Mine's in the mail so +1 if that makes you feel any better MT.

And we would be lagging behind a team who won the premiership and Essendon who get a massive start due to reserved seating at Telstra Dome.

The rest you have posted we are less than 1k behind. And it's still January yet again, MT.

You have to say ,we are still the most loyal bunch in the league going on the above figures.

What 1 k behind after a delayed membership campaign,a lousy 2009 and the other teams are either geniune contenders or as in the case with Melbourne, getting excited with their tanked players like we were picking up Cuz last year.

Re: Membership Counter

I hope you all realise we offer more expensive membership packages and only 11-22 game memberships which are more expensive hence less members will buy them. Hawthorn arent the power they think they are because they offer cheapo one-game armchairs, 3-game memberships, junior rioli's, etc. that are cheaper and hence more will buy.

The same applies to the other clubs.

Re: Membership Counter

We might not offer the 3-game membership but we have a shitload of junior memberships options and the "tiger insider" that is basically the armchair membership that are the cheapo kind.

At a guess the Hawks only ones that would be decently behind on revenue per membership because of the Tassie memberships and the other "cheap" armchair and junior memberships that most clubs offer,.

Re: Membership Counter

Ouch - Hawks have over 30k members, even Melbourne has more than us!

After the disgraceful failures onfield last year this year was always going to see us struggle to seel memberships. No one can possibly be surprised. We have to work our way up.

We know the score here. We are a desperately underperforming club playing at he G so our fans know they can stroll up if they want to and don't buy into the club because they think we will be as crap as last year.

Everyone knows we have the ability to set melbourne alight if IF IF IF IF we get it together onfield but we have to do so. Wen we do that we will be right up there with e Dons and Pies. If we contimue to flatline we are stuck with the Dees and Puppies.

True this but it is also quite ironic...

Those supporters who really did only jump on board last year because of the hype and have jumped 'off board' this year due to the crap year we had in 2009 actually have it arse about!

Hindsight is a wonderful thing but surely it is going to be much more rewarding to sign-up now at the start of a new era that is more likely to bring improvement over time and ultimate success rather than again try to time their one membership every few years with a particular season in the future.

Get on board now Tigers!

Never a better time for supporters to sign on than now to see the Hardwick regime.

Everyone signed on for Cuzz last year but this year we will really see Cousins in full flow.
