A few sides have played the kick mark game vs dogs this year so i assume it was just the strategy which goes against our best style, even if it is best against dogs

Massimo, tsatas, davey.talks a lot of crap. Who’s the selection pressure coming from?
eh? have you read any of our player threads lately? pretty much every single one is a variation of "drop him his form is bad, play this kid instead" (apart from one or two that have been infected with trade/fa nonsense, in which case it's mostly a variation of "trade him and draft this kid instead")talks a lot of crap. Who’s the selection pressure coming from?
Well it was a train wreak and looked horrible. Doesn’t help when we’ve got defenders who are only capable of slow 30m dinky passes.A few sides have played the kick mark game vs dogs this year so i assume it was just the strategy which goes against our best style, even if it is best against dogs
Would be nice to get another Fletch type kick, so penetrating.Well it was a train wreak and looked horrible. Doesn’t help when we’ve got defenders who are only capable of slow 30m dinky passes.
Massimo, tsatas, davey.
Can you define what you mean by "selection pressure"? Doesn't seem to match the usual definition...Hasn’t played since: round 13/ever/10
Not really selection pressure
You know what selection pressure is yeh?Hasn’t played since: round 13/ever/10

You’ve got no idea what selection pressure means then.Well I mean, what pressure? Davey and Tsatas don’t get games… where is the pressure coming from? He very, very rarely makes any changes to the 22, win lose or draw
You know what selection pressure is yeh?
Performing consistently in the vfl. That’s what all 3 have done.

Davey wasn’t playing well enough to force a spot - now he is. Mass has only played 2-3 full games back in the vfl- he’s dominating. Tsatas has been building up after missing 4 months - he’s being held back, but he’s forcing their hand. But in the context of ‘we have selection pressure every week’… well be never changes the team, unless there’s an injury or he feels like dropping a kid like Menzie.
All 3 have performed consistently in the VFL as you said, but he’s not going to play any of them at AFL level, so where/what is the pressure..?
WhatI think if you’re suggesting someone who hasn’t played an AFL game as applying selection pressure you might also need an update on the definition
It will be better for us if we don’t make finals. Nothing to gain by getting belted.Everyone is going ape s**t because we are not going to make finals.
Who had us making finals pre-season?
We are fine. First season. Brad is working out who to keeo and who to drop.
SO WHY DO WE KEEP DOING ITNothing to gain by getting belted.
Because apparently making the finals is a massive tick for the club. It means nothing, in the past lots of pats on the back for making September. I remember in the 90s it was an expectation that we at least make a prelim.SO WHY DO WE KEEP DOING IT
I'd still rather make them than not make them. Agree to disagree I guess.Because apparently making the finals is a massive tick for the club. It means nothing, in the past lots of pats on the back for making September. I remember in the 90s it was an expectation that we at least make a prelim.
Remember to well done message brasher sent out 2 years ago.
When have we had 2 bad performances in a row this year?Well I mean, what pressure? Davey and Tsatas don’t get games… where is the pressure coming from? He very, very rarely makes any changes to the 22, win lose or draw

I would think they'd be hungrier losing a final than missing out all together.I guess
Just don’t see the point when they’re clearly not up to it yet. Nothing to be gained from coping a 60 point flogging. Rather them just miss and be hungry next year
You'd think so mate but that hasn't worked out in the past eitherI would think they'd be hungrier losing a final than missing out all together.
