We'll know a lot by the time pre-season starts. We all want him to cut deep, but I honestly think he'll be too conservative for that. Hope I'm wrong.

We don’t need to cut deep

That fact we had 38-18 inside 50s at half time shows you we can play, the problem is the structure and connection with the fwdline is completely and utterly ****ed.

We need to recruit fwd targets and fix that connection and structure. We do that and we will win games of footy.

It has been the theme the entire year. That’s what we need to spend this off season fixing.

Scott knows he needs to be fairly competitive next year, so guys like Stringer, Guelfi, Kelly, Baldwin types likely are offered deals

By cut deep, I mean to make some big calls on players like Stringer, Sheil etc., not wholesale changes.
One positive this year, is we appear fitter than this time previous years. Still a way to go, but something to build on.

If we could actually complete a ****ing handball or someone other than Caddy could run at the footy in the forward half something may happen.
The coach has made some odd selections but he is trying to win a GP with a XM Falcon.
Not sure you can complain about our recruiting of the past and expect anything to change at any sort of fast pace .

Next year if our round 1 side has any of the following players in it that he regularly picks... he is going to cop serious heat.

the fact im even questioning this shows my hope in this football club..

Weidemann selected makes me think he may get a new contract
Hind brings some energy and a possibility to get a new contract
Goldstein wouldn't surprise if he went around again. Too hard getting a state leaguer or 3rd choice from elsewhere

tough decisions are Jake Kelly who consistently plays poorly yet continually gets selected. Tough decisions are moving on guys who have been nice servants of the football club but we need to move past

It isn’t. And therein lies the problem for Brad. No one will care and he’ll cop the blame anyway. It’s so depressingly predictable yet inevitable unless we drastically improve next year, which is very unlikely.

Talk is always cheap. I never understand why people actually rate what gets said at press conferences. It is not just us .
The only time talk means anything is when you win.
Look at McRae this year . Looks like a total knob now they are losing.
The simple fact is we are not good.
