I wonder what consequences they will have?
If I was their employer and found out they would face instant dismissal.
On a side note... Walters lived down the road from me until I moved just recently and his family is awesome. Very upsetting

Thankfully our opponents in round 21, 22 and 23 aren't fighting for finals placing like:
Round 21: Melbourne/Collingwood, Geelong/St Kilda, Brisbane/Carlton
Round 22: St Kilda/Brisbane, Melbourne/Carlton, Sydney/Collingwood
Round 23: St Kilda/Sydney, Melbourne/Brisbane, Carlton/Collingwood
Our next three games are the key. If we can keep our heads above the pack against Sydney, Richmond and Melbourne then the rest of the sides tear each other apart around us.

I have no idea what this person said. However, the reaction I have seen on Twitter has been nothing but solid support for Son Son and Freddy. The beautiful comments written about them have made my heart sing.

Dogs may still be in the running in round 21. Unlikely but they’re a chance. Otherwise I agree, pretty good way for the season to unfold for us.

This has been Freo's best season since 2013, IMO. We should end this defeatest mindset where we're always panicking or worried about the next 'danger game'. The reality is, we'll be favourites for every remaining game in 2022, including against Melbourne at Optus. Further, the other teams sharing Top4 fear us given we've beaten them all on their home turf except Bris. We've had our wobbles and inconsistencies and there might be one or two more surprise losses, but we've learnt from all of our losses, and came back better and stronger. Its unlikely we'll drop many games from this point, IMO.
Believe it or not, Freo are the team to beat, and its us who teams fear. The only hoodoo team for me is Carlton. But who else is going to beat us now? Time will tell, but JL's got this team humming like a well oiled machine, and Freo supporters have every right to feel empowered this year. The new era starts now. Let's enjoy it! Go Freo!!

It's the first time I've ever felt like we can win it.....I hoped we could in 2013, and I knew we wouldn't in 2015. But this side has something that the other good Docker teams of yonder lacked. A very even best 22. We dont rely on 5 amazing players to get the job done. We rely on all of the 22 playing their role in the system and we seem to break down teams with relentless run.
But what I've come to really respect is the adaptation to opposition tactics midgame. We seem to go into a holding pattern in the 1st half, watching and learning. Then you can see it in the 3rd ... like a 'Gotcha' moment. Then our midfield goes bananas winning centre clearances at will and dominating the ball. Even when we go 3 or 4 goals down i dont feel like we are out of it. Ross Lyon teams fell 3 goals down and it was game over and other teams knew that.
Whatever happens from here i know we are on the right path and that window is the biggest It's ever been for us. The foundation is solid, the structure sound and the build is complete.
Get excited Freo fans!! Its not a matter of if anymore...its a matter of when.

Agreed 100%. I don't see a game coming up that makes me think "yeah, we're gonna lose that one".
We already beat Melbourne away, Geelong away and Brisbane. We have legit already beaten the 3 main premiership contenders this year, so why the hell should I be worried about a Richmond? or the Dogs? or whoever we play coming up.
Nothing is even up on the AFL site yet. Obviously, not that important when it doesn’t affect a Vic team.

Supposed to be ladder position these days, but could come down to whether we're playing a Vic opponent or not.
If we do make it and we're the higher placed team we need to come out on the front foot like Adelaide did against Richmond and publicly declare that we expect to be wearing our home strip as the higher ranked team.
Following the Club’s win over St Kilda on Saturday night, Fremantle players Michael Walters and Michael Federick were subjected to vile and racist comments online from a member of the public.
CEO Simon Garlick confirmed the Club had reported the matter to the AFL.
“There is absolutely no place for online abuse and our Club will not tolerate it at any level,” Garlick said.
“Nobody in the community deserves to endure the hurtful and harmful comments experienced by our players over the weekend.
“They are two much-loved members of our Freo family who have been vilified in a cowardly way and we are working through the matter with the priority being the wellbeing and support for our players.”

could see melb losing their last 3 games really, and with brisbane dropping one against the dons we are in a great position to take a top 2 spot

This has really made me feel sick. I'm not exactly sure why.
As a white fella with indigenous relatives on my grandmothers side I just think of them and realise some parts of society will never change towards people who are just good citizens and should be treated as equals but never are.

Don't get me wrong, I am as ashamed that people can still say this sort of stuff. It is vile and unforgivable.
But I think that it will become a police matter. It will depend on how the players and the club decide to handle it.

But in all seriousness and without suggesting a poll because that would be too presumptuous, what strip would we prefer if we were to make the grand final this year ?
We have had some good results in the white strip this year.
