Whats this about?
It's some of the more outlandish rumours that surrounded the camp.

Obviously, that was a lot more than one month after he re-signed.

For the record I don’t think anyone has said Gov is a straight swap for 1. Adding Melbournes first to it is a fair trade IMO.

What I don’t agree with is the notion we need to accept unders because he’s chosen Carlton. Bad luck, he’s contracted. We get what we want or he stays. If Carlton are prepared to offer him huge money but are then not prepared to trade for him knowing he’s contracted, you’ve got to question what SOS is doing.
Nah, I did

2 years on a contract - happy to have him here for 2 more

The club wouldn't want it to get out that players & coaches are leaving because of certain incompetent administrative staff... when any decent management would move on the problem staff instead to keep the players & coaches.

The truth need to come out in the best interests of the club to move forward...

100% agree with this. Hopefully the blowtorch continues so that we get some sense of truth here.

Hopefully someone in the organisations management has the courage to make the big decisions and actually want to find the cause of the issues and remove it - rather than 'backing in' staff, refusing to admit our mistakes and allowing it to fester.

Anyone know what Mitchs partner does.

I am not suggesting she has any influence in making Mitch leave, but you would assume they would be looking for a mutually beneficial move.

On that note, does anyone get a feeling it could be Sydney looking at Mcgovern?
I read on here that she's a south aussie girl, but the course she wants to study isn't offered in Adelaide, hence the desire to move.

Heres a line I remember from Carlton supporters in 2016.
If you go after a player and get him to try and break his contract to go to your club, then you owe it to him to pay the required price to see it through.

There is no evidence Carlton "went after MM".

FWIW - I agree with Gethelred in that a player like MM is not high on the priority list given our deficiencies in MID in particular.

There seems to be plenty of evidence the Crows have left him extremely upset about contract negotiations and Collective Minds crap.

In summary it seems MM just wants to play where he'll be happy rather than being "lured away".

Think she just finished uni. Lawyer? More job ops in vic i guess. Probably not a huge factor in it all

Lol, you put way too much effort into typing that out than it warrented, as it was mostly dribble.
Good recuiters have a track record of drafting kids with picks that arnt in the top 10. Adelaide hasnt taken a pick in the top 10 for such a long time I cant even remember who it was.
Gold Coast and Carlton are full of top picks, yet both sides cant hold a candle to the talent Adelaide has. Why? When SOS has done the same then you can start talking him up as a good judge of talent.

Charlie Curnow goes alright......

Oh please. And Gibbs and Betts just wanted to play where they would be happy rather than being lured away by Adelaide.
Wishful thinking.
